It has been wonderful to watch my son grow in such a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. Every morning, it’s so nice to see the children arriving happy and excited, and every afternoon they leave with big smiles. The team genuinely cares about each child and works incredibly hard to create a positive and engaging environment.

Recently, the centre was upgraded, and it looks fantastic. The improvements have made it even more enjoyable for the children, and my son absolutely loves it. In fact, there are many days when he doesn’t want to go home because he’s having so much fun!

Thank you to everyone at the centre for your kindness, patience, and hard work. We truly appreciate everything you do, and I highly recommend this childcare centre to any family looking for a caring and supportive place for their children.

Every morning the staff greet the kids with genuine smiles and calm reassurance and by departure they are open to discuss the day's activities with parents despite having a long stressful day. They handle busy drop‑offs and pick‑ups so smoothly, and they’re always willing to adjust when parents need a little flexibility. That kind of kindness goes a long way.

Tanisha is amazing — she has a natural way of connecting with the children in her room, and you can see how comfortable and happy they are with her. And even though I can’t name everyone, the whole team deserves recognition. You can feel the care in the way they speak to the kids, guide them, and create a safe, joyful space. They’re doing a truly wonderful job.

My children have had a wonderful experience at Pelican in the City – Centre Two. From the very beginning, my older child was supported so well by Mrs Shrut Kirti, the Early Childhood Teacher, who helped him settle in early with patience, understanding, and genuine care. Because of this strong foundation, both of my children have shown significant improvements in communication and now play more confidently and collaboratively with others.

The environment is warm, safe, and well‑organised, and the staff are consistently kind, attentive, and understanding. You can feel that they truly see and respect each child’s individual needs.

I also want to acknowledge the centre manager and her assistant — they are incredibly human in their approach. They listen, they empathise, and they genuinely understand the challenges parents face. Their support has made a real difference for our family.

I am grateful for the positive impact this centre has had on my children’s development and wellbeing. Highly recommended.

I have never had a problem, in fact have always felt as though the staff go above and beyond... Pelicans is an amazing daycare!
I have never had a problem, in fact have always felt as though the staff go above and beyond everyday for my babies. The toddler is excited to tell me about the chef prepared lunch everyday and the games she’s played with her teachers and friends. She knows songs in different languages and always feels loved and supported. The baby too- she smiles when she arrives and is happy to be handed over… the teachers even sing her a special song just for her. I’ve always felt supported as a mum too even when I’ve shown up a mess and unprepared.

Pelicans in the Park has been a wonderful place for my son. All the educators there are so great with kids, and are... Pelicans in the Park has been a wonderful place for my son. All the educators there are so great with kids, and are always willing to listen to any extra information (e.g. if your child is having a hard time with something) and make a concerted effort to makes things as smooth and easy as possible for your child. I'm so glad my son goes here.

The staff are incredibly lovely, caring and genuinely invested in the children. From day one, they made the transition to a new daycare so easy for our boys, which meant so much to us as parents. They are accommodating, communicative and always welcoming. It’s clear they create a nurturing environment where the children feel safe, supported and excited to learn. We’ve seen our boys settle in beautifully and grow in confidence, and that’s a real credit to the team. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful centre and highly recommend them to any families looking for a caring and supportive daycare.
