I am Racheal, the Centre Manager at Eden Academy Little Bardon. I began my journey with Eden Academy in 2021 when I helped to open the Eden Academy Bardon centre as the Educational Leader. I have been in the Early Childhood Education Sector for 23 years and have worked with children of all ages from 6 weeks to 13 years old during my time.
I enjoy making connections with children and their families and supporting them while they settle into the centre environment. I also love being able to share a good story from the day with families at pick-up time.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and also watching movies either at home or at the cinema. I also love a good shopping trip.

Rigorous Recruitment & Screening - All Eden team members undergo thorough checks — including Working With Children, ID, work history, references, right to work, background, and child protection training — to ensure the highest safety standards.
Ongoing Staff Training - Our educators and leaders regularly complete professional development in child protection, identifying signs of harm, mandatory reporting, and creating safe spaces.
Clear Policies & Procedures - We have strong systems in place for reporting and responding to concerns, guided by our Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Risk Management and Incident Reporting processes.
Empowering Children - We foster environments where children feel respected, heard, and safe to share their thoughts and concerns.
Safe Environments - Our centres are designed with safety in mind. Regular audits and risk assessments help us maintain high standards and minimise hazards.
Family Partnerships - We believe families are central to keeping children safe. We encourage open communication and welcome feedback, questions, or concerns at any time.

From the moment you arrive, you will see how our nurturing environments, passionate educators, and strong sense of community come together to create a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
Can’t make it during the day? We will also be hosting Twilight Tours on Wednesday 18th February from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. These relaxed after work tours are perfect for families who would love to visit in the early evening and experience Eden at the end of a joyful learning day.
