I find the employees are very professional and friendly. They have created a warm, safe and fun environment for my child. Would highly recommend.

After being traumatised and left permanently deaf from daycare as a child, I’m as picky as it gets when it comes to the care of my daughter. Eden academy has helped ease with that transition of trust. Thank you to Kathryn, Dani, and the entire daycare team. Everyone has been warm and welcoming, and they’ve addressed all my questions and concerns with care and professionalism. Things that set Eden apart for me: -the onsite chef, that’s allergy aware and creates wholesome foods -the extremely tall, block out fences -breastfeeding friendly -uploads daily posts and communication via app for parents -attentive with phone calls -water features and great out door facilities - the centre is not attached to the main road and has its own car parking space -each room is cleaned and left orderly daily -up to date, modern range of toys, books and soft play equipment ⸻ In the four months we’ve been part of this daycare, I’ve truly witnessed the passion and dedication of the staff. Their efforts to create a sense of community at Eden shine through—from hosting BBQs and building an outdoor library to organising special days that bring joy to both children and parents.

Eden Academy is the most beautiful centre I have ever seen and experienced. My children have been attending for about 5 months now and I can strongly say that I’m extremely happy with the care and nurturing of my children attending. Management are just amazing and beautiful ladies that are always welcoming, understanding and loving to my family. The bond management ladies have made with families is incredible. I have been sending my child to Eden Academy for about a month, then when I spoke to Edmonton manager when I was checking in on my child who was very upset on drop off, manager definitely doesn't keep her motto of building and maintaining positive relationships with children and families. It is heartbreaking and very disappointing how unregulated she was blaming my child for adults in educator role who were unable to make safe environment for my child and not understanding kids have emotions too and are young and innocent learning the world. I was calm asking how my tired, and then crying child was after we dropped her, and I the mother had to explain the behaviour of a another child to my child, right as it happened, as normal silly friendship behaviour as toddlers do. Noone could answer to me why my child has now become terrified to go back to daycare for the last few days. I told the manager on phone I understand how other kids had made my child upset, but how the manager was out of breath and passing the blame, stating its difficult for her workers to juggle other kids and mine, creating a very appalling negative relationship and their lack of attempt in connecting and understanding our family. Definitely not as the manager mentioned she strives to do making positive relationships with families. It’s understandable that the educators, being human, may sometimes feel overwhelmed with the responsibility of looking after so many children. They are undoubtedly doing their best to be patient and understanding. However, it’s important to acknowledge that no one can perfectly accommodate every child’s unique needs all the time. But a safe environment to young children is important to help build confidence of children and not make them fear socialisation with other kids and where educator cannot emotionally calm a child who gets terrified when not explained how another kid is trying to connect by being silly. Thankfully I the mother calmed my child but couldn't prevent the root cause which daycare just distracted my child unable to address issue. Thus, causing my child having nightmares crying every night. So not emotionally safe environment for children. That said, making excuses or focusing solely on what needs to change in a child is not the most constructive approach and not of nurturing nature. Instead, empathy and kindness are essential, especially when it comes to young children who are innocent and still learning. As adults, especially as the educators, we should lead by example and approach such situations with understanding and regulating one's own emotions leading by example with calm. So that children can find a safe and comfortable environment to settle in. We as parents do our best to help prepare our children for the world, and we trusted educators to create a safe environment as their role as educators.

Beautiful daycare! My 7 month old started going there last month and I feel so comfortable leaving him there, knowing how wonderful all the educators are! Thanks Taylah and Hannah you ladies are so great and my son always gives you a big smile when I drop him off. I can’t compare to any other daycares because I’m a first time mum but I’m so glad I chose to enrol my baby at Eden! Best decision ever. I also love all the little updates in the app while im at work!
