I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, with over 20 years of experience working with children, including 10 years in Long Day Care and 10 years in Family Day Care. All of my qualifications, including First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Child Protection training, and Working With Children Check (WWCC), are current and up to date. I have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), ensuring high-quality care and education for every child. At Blue Bird Family Day Care, I offer a warm, safe, and nurturing home-based environment where children learn through play, explore nature, engage in creative experiences, and develop confidence and independence. Families receive regular developmental updates, including six-monthly progress reports and a comprehensive school transition report in the year before their child starts school to support a smooth transition to school. I also offer a gradual orientation and settling-in process to help children feel secure and comfortable while providing families with peace of mind. Our small group setting allows me to provide individual attention and personalised care, supporting each child's unique interests, strengths, and developmental needs. Our daily program includes a variety of fun and educational experiences such as arts and crafts, story time, music and movement, outdoor play, and nature-based learning.
