About Heritage House Wahroonga Early Education Centre

Family-owned and operated since 1995, Heritage House has supported generations of local families from infancy through to preschool. Our approach brings together nurturing relationships, inquiry-led learning and beautifully considered environments where each child’s individuality is recognised and their confidence, curiosity and sense of belonging is encouraged.

Our all-inclusive daily fee gives children access to a rich variety of experiences, including in-house sport, dance, music and language programs. Children also enjoy fresh meals prepared daily by our in-house cook, with allergies, dietary needs and each child’s stage of development thoughtfully considered.

Learning at Heritage House is led by curiosity. Through open-ended play, storytelling, nature exploration, creative arts, movement and meaningful group experiences, children are encouraged to wonder, communicate, problem-solve and learn at their own pace. These purposeful experiences support each child’s social, emotional and cognitive development while building confidence and independence.

Child safety and compliance are built into the way every Heritage House centre operates.

This commitment is supported by an experienced leadership team with more than 120 years of combined Early Education experience, including a dedicated Compliance Manager with over 30 years of sector experience. Regular compliance reviews, centre audits, supervision reviews, practical coaching and ongoing child safety training help translate strong standards into consistent daily practice and protect the trust families place in us.

Families can feel reassured knowing our safeguards include rigorous recruitment and reference checks, Working with Children Checks completed before employment, comprehensive induction and professional development, structured supervision plans, restricted-access CCTV and clear incident communication.

We also maintain a carefully selected casual educator pool dedicated to Heritage House, with no reliance on external agency staff. This supports greater familiarity, consistency and trust for children, families and educators.

I am providing the feedback as a grandparent. Heritage House ( HH) long daycare facility has provided our grand daughter a safe and stimulating physical environment. As grandparents, we often do the pickups and we like the well maintained, clean rooms with ample natural light. The playground is well maintained with soft falling surfaces, sand pit and age-appropriate equipments. A big thank you, to warm and responsive educators like Somi, Shefali, Ashley, Anusha and many others. HH ‘s daily updates, photos, and learning logs to the parents are great. Watching our granddaughter’s photos during group book-reading, yoga, craft activities, music sessions help us be part of her growing and developing phase.
Last year, my dreadful cancer diagnosis surgery, chemo sessions etc, seemed to have had a rippling effect on the family. My grand daughter seemed to have sensed the heightened anxiety. I am greatly thankful to HH for their support during that period. The individualised attention, dedicated care, empathy and support that the educators like Somi provided, helped my granddaughter manage her emotions and feel secured. Thanks so much!!
Wishing everyone at HH all the best!
Regards,
Anjali K

Our family has been with Heritage House Wahroonga for almost two years. It's clear that the center generously invests in high quality programs and resources for the children. The daily meals are a huge hit with my child. Most importantly, the educators always bring a bright, positive attitude and engage wonderfully with the kids. They also share updates and feedback right away, allowing me to send my child here with complete peace of mind. I highly recommend Heritage House to anyone looking for a comfortable and joyful environment for their children.

We’ve been with Heritage House Wahroonga for a few years now and are happy with how things are going. The staff are caring, involved and provide plenty of updates on your child’s development. Shout out to Somi, Winnie, Ashley and Anusha. The building is new, which means it’s clean. Great outdoor playground with ample space. It’s a good spot and we haven’t any unpleasant surprises.
