Low staff turnover means that educators have a proper bond with kids, and kids feel safe and secure with all educators. The Kinderhaus Difference
Kinderhaus Montessor Preschool is a family owned and run long day care facility that offers a unique and holistic approach to child development. The strong educational component of our curriculum allows us to bridge the gap between traditional childcare and kindergarten.
We believe Kinderhaus creates an environment where each and every child’s needs are catered for holistically within our center. What does this mean and how is this achieved?
Adhering to an enriching program that utilises the Montessori method of teaching while linking to the early years learning framework. This ensures our programs are diverse and cater for every child.
Visual – prefers pictures and images
Auditory – prefers sounds and musical methods
Verbal – prefers words both in speech and writing
Physical – prefers using their body, sense of touch, muscle memory
Each of the above learning styles are implemented throughout the program in each room and are delivered by our team of experienced educators who are handpicked to compliment and balance the teams skill set.
Working in small groups enhances the learning environment for the child allowing the educators to really engage each and every child while also scanning the group for any child who may be struggling with a particular element. We also have a buffer of staff (on an ordinary day) during the peak learning times to ensure we can direct our attention where it is required without hampering the flow of the room.
We believe school readiness is practiced each and every day. Children need to be introduced to a structured learning environment well before starting kindergarten.

Shiara Jacques brings a unique blend of expertise to Kinderhaus Montessori as both an Educator and General Counsel. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education alongside degrees in Law and Economics (Social Sciences), Shiara offers a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to early learning. She is deeply passionate about creating nurturing, engaging environments where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow. Shiara holds a current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Child Protection Certification, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism in everything she does.
At Kinderhaus Montessori, we believe that nourishing the body is just as important as nurturing the mind. Our brand-new, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen allows us to provide healthy, balanced meals and snacks that support children’s growth, energy, and wellbeing throughout the day. We cater to a variety of dietary needs and prioritise fresh, whole foods prepared with care. Mealtimes are also part of the learning experience encouraging independence, social connection, and positive lifelong habits.

We absolutely love Kinderhaus Montessori!! The space feels so calm and inviting, and is beautifully set up for kids to learn the Monessori way while having fun. The teachers are amazing, so kind and nurturing, and dedicated to my son's development. We are so grateful for their passion and genuine concern.
