I can’t recommend HEI school enough (and I have really recommend to other people looking for daycares). The staff are amazing. Everyone is so nice and warm. The admin team is super helpful and responsive, helped us figure out the best schedule possible. The educators in the room are caring, attentive and very detailed oriented! The best testimony is, my son absolutely loves the daycare, he enjoys it since day one. I really appreciated the personal notes from the educators for the first a few days ( or when we have any concerns). They understand our concerns and anxiety. A little notes regarding how my baby boy settled in can really make my day. My boy has grown so fast since he starts to go to HEI school. He learned his name within the first week or so, his gross motor skills have improved significantly. Great daycare, thanks to all the great staff!

Dear Google review readers, This is a 5 star Childcare/Early Learning Institution, so don't be fooled by someone with a negative attitude. Staff: Friendly, approachable and highly passionate. Each room is set out for students in one year gaps, utterly brilliant. Facilities: brand new, clutter free and open out door space for adventure, learning and exploring. Immaculate kitchen with outstanding nutritional meals. Management: Couldn't speak highly on the integrity that is behind the management. They look after your issues, and make quick changes to children's routines. In addition, communication is on the front foot. Overall, we have tried other places nearby and so thankful we waited patiently to be part of the HEI community.

Moving my toddler Ryan from a Montessori daycare to Hay School initially made me apprehensive. However, my worries were quickly dispelled as I witnessed the exceptional care provided by the staff. It’s heartwarming to see my son thriving in such a nurturing environment. He’s not only happy but also learning at an impressive pace, with noticeable improvements in his motor skills. HEI Schools Gosford Early Education Centre is a brand-new Nordic style childcare centre located in Gosford, NSW providing an unprecedented new concept where both Finnish and Australian early childhood education concepts are blended together. We deliver high quality care to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
To foster children's holistic growth, we create an all-rounded environment based on the latest scientific research by our founding partner - The University of Helsinki, Finland.
At HEI Schools Gosford, we believe that freedom of exploration and play are crucial to children's development. We promote children's curiosity, creativity and proactivity through daily routines and special events.
We believe the importance of allowing children to explore the natural environments as much as our indoor spaces. We support the children as they make the connection between the natural environment and begin to learn and appreciate the world around them. We believe a lot of learning happens in nature and we pay gratitude to the nature surrounding us. At HEI Schools Gosford, we engage in various weekly excursions to the natural environments throughout our community as we link the current learning themes with the children's interests.
At HEI Schools Gosford, we enact the holist approach when caring for each child and recognizing their independence, sense of agency, and uniqueness. We commit to providing unique and personalized care for each child and provide them with endless opportunities to play, explore, wonder, and learn by caring educators. Our curriculum decision making contributes to each child's learning and development in unison with the Early Years Learning Framework and the HEI values created from the Finnish education standards, by looking at the practice and principles to assist in each child's sense of Belonging, Being, and Becoming.
We are located directly opposite the Gosford train station and are in a picturesque location, ideal for our families. We are easily accessible and offer parking at our facilities for those busy mornings and afternoons with secure access to the education centre with a swipe card system. We provide engaging research-based science and nature programs for children of all ages throughout our centre.
Our fees are $128 for children aged 6-weeks to 3-years and $126 for children aged 3-years to 6-years. The fees include nappies, wet wipes, sunscreen, sheets, all meals, stimulated learning experiences, excursions / incursions and resources.
