As first time parents, we were anxious about leaving our daughter in someone else’s care. However, the incredible team at NELC made that process easier. Jess and the team not only checked in on our daughter’s wellbeing prior and during her transition to daycare but also mine as her Mum. It’s beautiful seeing her so happy at pick up after a wonderful day with new friends, caring staff and stimulating activity. I couldn’t ask for a better environment and group of people to take care of her.

Choosing a daycare is daunting, but if you want a community feel, educators that are fun and deeply caring - this is the one for you. When we were looking for daycare I wanted to find one where you saw kids gleefully running in - excited to start their day with the carers and their friends. That is NELC. Starting at 10months I was worried. But everyday the carers (all of whom are still with the centre) greeted our bub with a hug. Our son (now 3) utterly loves it here and is the first to offer big smiles and welcome new kids - that does sound a little cult like... But it's the safe and happy environment with nice kids and beautiful parents combined with outstanding care in a small centre that makes it great. We are soon to enroll our second child, it is this experience that has cemented my view that this centre really is more like family. The educators made a big deal about the arrival of the new sibling with our son, all the educators now greet her by name at drop-off and keep talking about their anticipation for being able to care for her too. The centre director Jess is truly wonderful. Not only is she's extremely well educated she is dedicated and so caring. It means the centre is run well, you have continuity of carers (because they are happy) and all your concerns as a parent are carefully managed. I know my kids feel safe, nourished and happy here at NELC so that I can go about my day knowing they are making good memories.

It's hard to put into words how lovely and caring NELC truly is. After a disappointing experience with an 'exceeding' centre, our time with NELC was a complete breath of fresh air in the best possible way. From day one, the director and the team showed genuine care for our son, welcoming him into their nurturing environment with patience and kindness. We could feel their heartfelt commitment to his well-being, and our son responded to this with growing attachment and joy. He thrived during his time at NELC, building wonderful relationships with his friends and educators. Honestly, calling NELC a 'centre' doesn’t do it justice—it’s so much more than that. For us, and for every other parent we spoke with, it felt like family. Even though we’ve since moved away, we will always cherish the moments we shared with NELC and plan to visit the team whenever we get the chance. If you’re looking for a place where your child will be cared for with genuine love and dedication, look no further. Trust me—this is the one.

Fantastic day care centre. Clean. Well managed. Great and extensive supervision. Our child had blossomed in the 6 months of their attendance. Plenty of space and appropriate separation between younglings and older kids. Every staff member is warm, welcoming and loving. We have a high degree of trust which is vital when picking a daycare. We screened other child cares and this one came out on top.

Would be very happy to recommend NELC. It is a small centre with beautiful indoor and outside spaces, caring, engaged staff and an experienced Director. We particularly like the inclusive and thoughtful education program and weekly sport class which my daughter loves.

My little one has been with NELC for the past 2 years 5 days a week, and it has become his comfort zone outside home. We have seen him develop tremendously with a lot of focus on age appropriate learning in every room right from nursery. The educators at NELC are very attentive & caring and create a fun environment for the kids. The centre director is very hands on & focused on the children’s development and has been a great room leader herself. The chef does a great job with the menu & makes sure the kids are exposed to a variety of foods through the week. We are happy we chose NELC for our little one and it is reassuring to have this support system for our little one.

Great centre. Moved the kids here mid last year and so happy we did. Staff go above and beyond, kids confidence and independence have blossomed and they both are thriving.

We have loved NELC from the moment we stepped foot in the door. The staff are warm, friendly and caring, the centre is clean & we have felt like we had a village of support behind us. Would recommend.
