Nido Early School understands that no one knows a child like their family. The service actively engages with parents and family members to ensure children have the very best care.
The team works with family members at enrolment and also regularly seeks updates on children’s schedules and current interests. This helps them to develop tailored programs that meet individual educational, physical, cultural and emotional needs.
Parents are welcome to chat with staff at drop off and pick up, and to contact the team at any stage via phone, email or the service’s ‘Playground’ App. The service regularly sends updates on children’s progress, and photos and videos of children during play and learning activities.

The curriculum at Nido Early School is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework. Designed to support the children in the early years and as they prepare for the transition to school, the curriculum is play-based and engaging.
The curriculum is delivered in three stages:
Nursery (6 weeks to 18 months)
In the nursery, the children are nurtured as they develop early connections with their educators. They read stories, play and explore the world around them.
The children start to develop their sense of identity and understand that they are part of a broader community. They start to explore their feelings and emotions and also try new things. Developing early communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal is also a big focus for the children in this age group.
Toddlers (18 months to 3 years)
The educators encourage the toddlers to develop their independence and autonomy. They have opportunities to build their social skills and early friendships while also learning to regulate their emotions.
As the children take safe risks in their learning, the educators also encourage their problem solving skills. Self-expression and communication are also important.
Kindergarten (3 years to school)
The Kindergarten curriculum helps to prepare the children for the big transition to big school. The children have a strong sense of self and understand their role in the community. They participate in peer activities and understand their own emotions.
They are always questioning how things work and practising their verbal and listening skills as strong communicators.

The team at Nido is amazing and our son enjoys his time there. All the educators are excellent at what they do! Particular shoutout to Miss Rom as we find that she is passionate about our son's growth and milestones. Often she's able to recollect the things he did in the day and shares it on pick up which I appreciate. Our boy absolutely loves her and often talks about her while he's at home. Would recommend anyone considering putting their kids here.

My daughter has been at Nido Willetton since she was 11 months old. She started at Nursery Room and she loves Ms Esther, Ms Hayley and Ms Kalpani who took good care of her. They were so kind and caring. My daughter has such a strong bond with Ms Esther - she always tells me how much she loves Ms Esther! The educators at the Nursery Room have the magic touch - they were always able to put my daughter to take a nap in the cot. I always struggled with this at home and I am so amazed at how they always manage all the babies and putting them down for a nap without waking another child. My daughter moved on to Toddler room and Ms Rom, Ms Rochelle and Ms Anggie (+ Ms Sheena & Ms Giselle) were the dream team. She hit all her development milestones while in their care at Nido Willetton and she is so confident in her speech. A huge shout out to Ms Rom! My daughter truly enjoys being at Nido with Ms Rom. She talks about Ms Rom daily and tells me about what they did at Nido. Everytime she tells me something new that she learned, and I say "Wow, who taught you that?" Her answer is always "Ms Rom! She teaches me everything. She is amazing! I love Ms Rom!" My daughter has just transitioned to Kinder 1 room for the first week and she is already talking about how much fun she has with Ms Sharon! I am so thankful for all the educators and Ms Ophelia, Ms Anthea and Ms Justine. Ms Ophelia who is the manager is so easy to talk to. It is so important to have someone friendly and approachable to lead the team. Ms Anthea and Ms Justine are hands down the pillar of the team at Nido Willetton! They are truly an asset and Nido Willetton is so lucky to have them! They were there to "hold down the fort" during the time when there was no manager at Nido Willetton. I enjoy chatting with Ms Anthea and I can truly feel how passionate she is in educating and caring for all the kids. Nido Willetton is a home away from home. I feel confident and comfortable dropping my daughter off at Nido Willetton daily as I know that she will be well cared for and that she will grow and learn during her time there. Thank you once again to the team at Nido Willetton! What an amazing place to be!
