Welcome to Happy Kids Early Learning!

Happy Kids Kindy was established in 1986 and is an initiative of the Armenian Relief Society of Australia - Sosseh Chapter Incorporated. (A United Nations endorsed Charity).  We provide quality care and education for 23 children aged 2-6 years old from 7:30 am to 6 pm. We also provide vacation care for school age children, upto the age of 12 years, during the school holiday. For our school holiday program, please see our FB page.

Happy Kids was originally set up to support many Armenian families that lived in Sydney. Currently, we have many Armenian families, as well as non-Armenian families that send their children to our centre.

• Children & Zen Place . . . Every Mondays and Fridays - Children’s yoga & relaxation is hugely beneficial for their growing bodies and more importantly their developing minds. Helping your child be more relaxed, happier and calm. This is optional for your child, however, we do encourage participation - Happy Kids will be omming your way to a more zen place with these regular yoga sessions.

• Fitness Program - every Thursday - Involves a series of creative themed physical activity sessions that encourage children to enjoy a fun, healthy and balanced lifestyle. These sessions are run within your early learning centres, preschool or childcare centre. An optional choice, which we highly recommend for your child that sees them engaging with other children weekly; building confidence, strength and happy times through fitness and sports - operated by a trained professional.

• Zumba - Tuesdays and Wednesdays  - There are so many big benefits that children can get from the dance classes. Regular dance practice can increase children's flexibility, range of motion, physical strength and stamina. The repetitive movements involved in dance can improve muscle tone, correct poor posture, increase balance and coordination and improve overall cardiovascular health.

• Letterland- The Wombats and Possum groups focus on a school readiness program which includes exposure to early years literacy and numeracy. At Happy Kids, We use Letterland to equip children with the pre-reading and pre-writing skills they need for starting school.

• Language Programs -  ELLA Program - Spanish Language - ELLA is a digital, play-based language learning program for preschool children. This Australian Government initiative inspires children by driving a genuine interest in a new language and culture.  Armenian Language - Children are encouraged to learn Armenian through Armenian songs, read Armenian story books and learn about the Armenian culture from Armenian staff.

More flexibility from your subsidy - Now you have options to choose a Session that suits you.

We offer more flexibility so you can make the most of the Child Care Subsidy. We have 10-hour to 7-hour Sessions, as well as 'all day' because we understand that every family is different, and not everyone needs 12 -hours of childcare or kindergarten/preschool a day.
