Established in 2016, Blossoms Childcare Lane Cove is a boutique centre providing enriching care and an adaptive learning environment for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The centre believes that children learn through play and has developed a range of holistic programs in line with guidelines set by ACECQA, National Quality Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework. The play based programs are tailored to children’s age, developmental levels and interests, and designed to foster holistic cognitive, social, physical, motor and emotional development.
Preschool
For children 3 and over, the preschool program focuses on building essential school readiness skills. Children take part in stimulating activities including literacy, science and numeracy, whilst educators also nurture resilience, emotional stability and social skills, for a smooth transition to kindergarten.
Emergent Curriculum
The emergent curriculum program is responsive to children’s interests, providing meaningful, relevant and engaging activities for every child. Educators working within the emergent curriculum build on children’s prior learning and current interests, and provoke new ideas and learning opportunities that challenge and extend children’s understanding about the world.
