We love Gumnuts! It’s a place where everyone is incredibly caring and kind, not only to me but also to my children. The educators create such a warm and welcoming environment, and my family has always felt supported and valued. We have only had wonderful experiences at the centre and are so grateful to be part of the Gumnuts community. Highly recommend!

It was a long journey trying to find the right place for my son, but the moment we found Gumnuts everything changed. Since starting there, he has made so many wonderful friends, built strong trusting relationships with his educators, and feels happy and secure every single day. The staff are incredibly supportive, welcoming and respectful. They truly see each child as an individual and are always open to communication, working alongside families to meet each child’s needs with care and intention. As a mum, it gives me so much peace of mind knowing he is surrounded by people who truly care for him. Gumnuts has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family.

I would like to say that we are extremely happy with the school. The educators are kind, caring and always create beautiful experiences. Staff's communication with parents is always top notch , keeping us informed about my daughter’s progress. It is noticeable the progress my daughter is making in areas like social skills. We are happy to recommend the centre to all our friends and family. Thank you Gabby ❤️

Over the past week, I’ve just changed jobs from FIFO to being home full-time so we could create a more stable environment for our 2 year old son. We’ve been doing everything possible to give him consistency and security and then this happened. Yesterday, the centre told us his enrolment was ending. This was the very first meeting ever called about his behaviour, and it came without any prior plan or genuine attempt to work together to support him staying. Seeing my wife 37 weeks pregnant with a scheduled C section go through this has been very concerning. She’s exhausted, stressed, and feels like our little boy has been labelled rather than supported. We relied on this centre to be part of our son’s stability, especially with big changes ahead. Instead, we’ve been left with no support, no time to make other arrangements, and a toddler who’s suddenly lost his familiar environment.

Our experience with this centre has been extremely distressing. Yesterday, our 2-year-old son was removed from care without any formal behaviour support plan, without a single prior meeting to address concerns, and without any genuine effort to work together toward a solution. What makes this even harder to understand is that yesterday was the first and only meeting ever requested about his behaviour. We were never told his place was at risk in a way that allowed time to act, and no plan was put in place to support him staying. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant with a scheduled C-section. We were relying on the centre’s care to help our son maintain stability during this transition. Now, we’re left without support, without time to plan, and with a toddler who has suddenly lost his trusted environment. With long waitlists at other centres, I’ll likely need to hire a private nanny during my recovery — a significant emotional burden we weren’t prepared for. Unfortunately this has left us heartbroken, feeling excluded, and deeply unsupported at one of the most vulnerable times in our lives.
