I like to thank the whole team, Teachers at fairways as they are absolutely amazing with my 4 year old boy! Being their my child learns so much and has made friends and they look after all kids the same and I really appreciate it! My son has been attending Pelican Fairways since he was around 2.5 years old and is now in the Kinder room. I cannot speak more highly of the care he has received throughout his time here or the incredible support from all the educators. We have always felt supported, informed, and confident that he is safe and in the best hands. All the educators — especially Ljubica, Vasa, and Virdah — are exceptional. They are knowledgeable, nurturing, and deeply committed, and I can clearly see how much my son has grown both academically and socially because of their guidance. He absolutely loves his teachers and friends, and he is happy, thriving, and excited to come each day. Thank you to all the staff and the entire team for your care, dedication, and everything you do for the children.

Pelican Fairways Childcare is honestly such a lovely place. From the moment you walk in, there’s a real sense of warmth and care from everyone there. The team genuinely seems passionate about what they do, and it shows in how they interact with the children every day. One thing I really appreciate is the smaller group sizes. It actually works in the centre’s favour because each child gets more attention. The educators really take the time to understand every child’s personality, interests, and needs, which makes a big difference in their development. The learning program is well thought out and play based, but you can clearly see the purpose behind everything they do. Activities are engaging and meaningful, and the environment always feels welcoming, organised, and set up in a way that encourages kids to explore and learn. Ljubica, Simran, and Vasa deserve a special mention, they’re all incredibly dedicated, caring, and professional. You can tell they genuinely enjoy working with the children, and that consistency really helps create a positive atmosphere. Since Virdah stepped into the management role, things have felt very stable and well managed. Taking over during a period of change isn’t easy, but she’s handled it really well. Her calm and supportive approach has clearly helped both the staff and families feel comfortable and confident. Overall, Pelican Fairways isn’t just a childcare centre, it’s a place where kids feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. The smaller setting really adds to the quality of care. Definitely recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing environment for their child.

I am posting this review under an anonymous name as my child currently still attends this centre. I feel it is necessary to protect my identity and my child’s safety until we have officially departed. There are severe systemic issues here that every family should be aware of. In the short span of just four months, seven staff members have resigned. I have been informed that these educators left because children had been mistreated within the rooms and nothing was being done about it, and once their resignations were accepted departing staff were told to not tell parents about them moving on and management are sending out false emails of why staff have resigned. The most upsetting thing is that G8 education (pelican fairways) has failed our children, it appears that rather than deal with what has been happening at the centre they would rather hide the incidents. G8 Did nothing about it, leading to a mass departure of great educators whose absence is greatly missed as they could no longer in good conscience work under these conditions. I have also noticed that the number of children at the centre has dropped drastically the centre now appears noticeably empty, which is a clear reflection of the current situation. We are leaving this centre because we no longer feel our child is safe in an environment where those in charge refuse to be transparent or accountable.

Pelican Fairways childcare centre is a hidden gem, and we feel very grateful to have found it. Being a smaller centre, it has a calm, welcoming feel. The environment is not overwhelming and it really feels like a second home. All the educators are genuinely caring, warm, and attentive. They truly understand each child as an individual and they form strong relationships with the families. We've noticed a clear improvement in both of our children's development since they started at Pelican Fairways, especially in confidence, communication, and social skills. It’s been amazing to see how much they’ve grown in such a supportive and nurturing environment. Communication with families is excellent via the childcare communication app (Xplor). We feel well informed about our children's day and we feel included in their learning journey. Our children are happy, settled, and excited to attend each day. We couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre. Pelican Fairways definitely ticks all the right boxes.

Dear Pelican Childcare Fairways Team, As Logan’s time at Pelican Childcare comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to say a very heartfelt thank you. Logan has been attending Pelican for the past four years, and tomorrow marks his final day of kinder before he begins an exciting new chapter — starting Prep in Kilmore next Thursday. While we are so proud and excited for him, we are also incredibly sad to be saying goodbye. Over the years, the beautiful teachers at Pelican have created so many special memories for Logan and have truly left a footprint on his heart. Your care, patience, guidance, and love have helped shape him into the confident and happy little person he is today. We feel so grateful and blessed that he has had such an amazing group of ladies supporting him through these early years. We would especially like to acknowledge Logan’s teachers for the incredible patience, understanding, and dedication they have shown — particularly during times when Logan could be a little temperamental and stubborn. We know he has certainly had his moments, and you have truly seen it all. Through it all, your calm approach, kindness, and encouragement never wavered, and for that we are so thankful. We also noticed such a positive change in Logan after his operation to remove his tonsils and adenoids. As his speech began to come through more clearly, his teachers played a huge role in supporting, encouraging, and building his confidence. The effort you put into helping him find his voice and preparing him for the transition to Prep has made a world of difference, and we will always be grateful for the part you played in this important stage of his development. We would also like to give a very special thank you to Carol. She does an absolutely amazing job running the centre and truly runs it like a pro. Her leadership, warmth, and dedication shine through in everything she does, and it is clear how much love and pride she has for the centre, the children, and the families. Pelican Childcare Fairways is a reflection of her hard work and passion, and we cannot thank her enough for creating such a welcoming and nurturing environment. A very special mention goes to Logan’s “private chef,” whose cooking he often preferred over his mum’s — a true testament to the love and care that goes into everything you do! Moving suburbs didn’t stop me from utilising the centre’s service as seeing the smile on my children’s faces during drop offs and seeing them run and hug their educators indicated that they are loved and cared for enormously. It is hard to put in words how grateful we are for the care, guidance and dedication this centre has shown to our children over the past TEN years. I feel grateful for the service and the impact the centre has had on my children’s wellbeing and education. This was witnessed when my child received an excellent initial school report from his primary school. This report is also a reflection of the quality service and a personalised education that the children receive while they attend this centre. For first-time parents who desire for their child/ren to build confidence, learn and grow in a positive, nurturing and a healthy environment then without a single doubt you should look no further than Pelican Fairways. Hi, I am very disappointed with the team and the atmosphere they provided throughout the year. My nephew was going to this centre, and we, as family members, asked them about his educational progress. They provide a rough copy of some activities without considering his learning strengths and did not include dates on any single page. This is not the portfolio, this is absolute rubbish. He started crying and said that this its not even his artwork that they attached. They waste our child's best moments of learning and skills that he would achieve during his basic foundation studies. Virdah, Lubica and Carol, you guys did an excellent job of ruining a child's first memory.
