Today truly feels like the end of an era for our family at Goodstart Early Learning Roxburgh Park (Sommeville Drive). Both of my children have attended this centre, starting from the baby’s room all the way through to kinder. My daughter completed her journey here in 2021 before starting prep in 2022 and today my son finished kinder and begins prep tomorrow. Closing this chapter after so many years is incredibly emotional, as this centre has been a constant in our family’s life for such a long time. A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca and the entire team for the genuine care, commitment and professionalism shown over the years. A special mention to my son’s kinder teachers: Rajni- Thank you for your calm, nurturing presence and the genuine care you showed Kaan every day. Your patience and warmth helped build his confidence and love for learning. Guida- Thank you for your enthusiasm, encouragement and ability to truly connect and make every experience fun with Kaan. Your support played a big role in helping him grow socially and emotionally throughout kinder. Jina- Thank you for your kindness, attentiveness and dedication. Your gentle guidance and consistency made Kaan feel safe, supported and ready for the next chapter. We would like to also thank the rest of the educators who have supported our children at different stages of their early learning journey. The educators here don’t just teach, they truly get to know the children, build strong relationships with families and create an environment where children feel safe, confident and valued. No service is ever perfect and over such a long period there were moments where concerns arose. What consistently stood out was how promptly and thoughtfully these were addressed. The team listened, communicated openly and took action to resolve issues, always with a strong focus on learning, reflection and continuous improvement. That level of responsiveness gave us confidence and reassurance as parents all the time. This childcare center is truly amazing The environment is safe, clean, and full of fun learning activities that help children grow and develop. The teachers are kind, patient and genuinely care about the kids. Since my child joined, I’ve noticed a wonderful improvement. The director, Rebecca, is exceptional professional, loving, and always attentive to every child’s needs. My son absolutely adores Goodstart honestly, he sometimes doesn’t even want to come home! His educators are so caring, patient, and genuinely treat the kids like their own. He’s grown so much in confidence and comes home with the cutest stories. We’re so grateful for this beautiful centre… they deserve a medal for looking after all these little comedians.

Since 2016, I’ve been with this centre. Both my daughter and son attended here from toddlers through to kinder, and now my 2-year-old also goes to this centre. When I decided to start childcare for my youngest, I didn’t think twice—it was either this centre or none at all. I’ve known the educators for years, and to this day they continue to show genuine love and care for all the children. I drop my son off every day knowing he’s in the best hands. Hats off to Rebecca—she’s always been amazing! She runs the centre so well, always on top of everything and quick to solve any problems that arise. Rebecca has been incredible not only with the children and the centre but also with us parents. Thank you for your endless effort and support. Enrolling our son here was the best decision we ever made. From the moment we enrolled him we were blown away by the warmth and dedication of all the staff. The educators are all very nurturing and caring. They create a safe space for children to learn, explore and grow. Unlike other centres (from my personal experience) your child is not just dropped off and watched until you pick them up. They are actually cared for and they learn!! Coming from a centre where my son was learning nothing to this centre where he is absolutely thriving, we couldn't be happier. There are endless resources, activities and events throughout the centre and we appreciate the efforts that go into this so much. This place has become a little home away from home for our son and theres nothing more relieving as a parent knowing your child is happy where they are, safe and being cared for genuinely.
