We couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our son and daughter to Mitchell Street. The small group with all ages combined means our little one is learning from the big kids, who in turn love the babies. This nurturing environment has really helped with the confidence of our oldest, and the careers have welcomed our daughter by employing creative ways of helping her settle, including letting her sleep with her backpack on. Storypark is also amazing, I love getting photos of them every now and then, developing skills and growing emotionally.
Mitchell Street is like having an extended family. Their centre is relaxed and intimate in size, which allows children and families to get to know each other through daily interaction and various social events throughout the year. Many families make connections that go well beyond their Mitchell Street days.
The lovely treed play areas are perfect for adventures and a range of structured and unstructured play. They also enjoy regular excursions (CERES, the zoo, local parks and schools).
Incursions include art, dance, sport and gardening/sustainability.
They welcome all children from 6 months to school age.
