Chiverleigh honestly feels like family. My kids were at heritage Wahroonga which I chose because it was new and shiny (first time mum). My kids were always sick and dirty and went through 3 outfits each a day somehow. Anyway I asked for daycare recommendations on the thornleigh community page and Renee reached out to organise a tour for me at Chiverleigh. It’s an older but very clean little centre (not a big daycare chain) with two creche rooms (never overcrowded) and all of the ladies are very professional and I can just tell they enjoy their job which is SO important in this industry (I know now). My kids love going there everyday they get so happy when they see one of the creche ladies and when I pick them up they’re nearly always in the same clothes I dropped them off in which as a twin mum means so much less laundry 🥲🥹 Thank you to all of the creche ladies, Fay-Maree, Renee and the big kids room ladies (for the morning/afternoon drop offs) for being so amazing and making this step in the motherhood process so easy for me 🫶🏽

We've had such a great experience with Chilverleigh. The staff are experienced, and have been there for many years - it's clear they really care about the kids which has made a big difference in helping my children feel comfortable. My children love the Mandarin lessons and excursions are always a highlight. The variety of programs has really helped build their confidence. It's reassuring to know that my kids are well cared for, experiencing new things and developing new skills. Highly recommend!!

Our youngest daughter attended Chilverleigh for four years and we think very highly of the centre! The educators are very attentive and experienced. They adore all the children in their care and cater for their individual needs/interests with a variety of fun and educational experiences every day! We are particularly impressed with all the creative, physical and science-based opportunities they provide. They also organise lots of special days (such as parades, reptile visits, drumming groups etc) which the children just LOVE! The director is extremely dedicated to providing a top quality service for all families and is very approachable/willing to help. The menu is fabulous and cooked fresh on site! We would definitely recommend Chilverleigh :)

We have been sending our daughter to Chilverleigh for nearly 12 months after moving into the area. We were worried about the her transition to Chilverleigh after nearly 2yrs at a previous day care. But the staff, carers and all the other children made her feel welcome and she absolutely loves going! We could not recommend Chilverleigh enough - there is so much warm, happiness and genuine care provided to all.

Why doesn't this business pay its bills when it orders goods? Despite Renee Passfield being asked nicely at least half a dozen times, she's not paid for goods that she ordered as director of this business, despite promising she would, at the time of purchase. Because it was very busy before Christmas, we sent the item she ordered out by mistake, before she'd paid for it. That's our bad as they say. There were two ways she could have gone, she could have paid the bill, or returned the goods, she did neither, and won't even engage in a conversation about it. If you hadn't paid your childcare bill, would you have been allowed to drop your child off for care? AND, if you'd been late to pick up your little darlings, because of traffic, I bet you'd get a bill of around a dollar a minute for picking them up late! If you see Renee, the director of this business, please ask her to contact me, or preferably pay the outstanding amount, before we have to escalate the issue further. I don't think it's fair, Do you? The educators at chilverleigh are excellent. Both my children went to chilverleigh and they were very happy there.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experiences with Chiverleigh. My daughter has been attending since 4 months old and enjoys all the activities she gets to experience. Renee always keeps the parents well informed of events, activities and updates. The staff spend time providing feedback at each pick up time and always act caring and loving towards the children. I look forward to the daily pictures and updates on what my daughter did each day she is at Chiverleigh. Chiverleigh have also accommodated for my daughters dietary allergies, the meals have a great variety and nutritional value which she always eats everything she is given there, which is re-assuring as she can be a picky eater at home. I highly recommend Chiverleigh.

My son absolutely loves attending Chilverleigh and has grown so much in the last year with the care he has received there. Renee is absolutely brilliant at communicating with parents and is so organised, warm and lovely to chat to. The educators are beautiful people who really care about the kids. I can’t rate this centre highly enough. I receive photos daily and the effort that goes into the activities planned for the kids is amazing.
