2 - 3 years

The children find a daily flow within the classroom, and develop their social and emotional developmental skills through games, craft, music and dancing.

3 - 4 years

These children engage in more activities that promote learning projects, such as writing and reading experiences, numeracy and counting, art and craft, and dramatic play.

4 - 5 years

The preschoolers engage in programs and activities that are based on their interests and developmental needs. The school readiness program begins working on their skills in reading and writing, listening and speaking, social and emotional development, numeracy, arts and music.

Sense of Wellbeing

At Eastwood Blessings we value a holistic approach to children’s lifelong welfare. Looking at all aspects of living and the sense of being, belonging and becoming within our environment. Children will develop an identity that includes resilience, empowerment and the ability to make decisions and express ideas. Children are provided opportunities to be active and physical as well as rested and connected with themselves and others.

As a service we take our environmental responsibility to heart and have embedded ongoing sustainable practices that both our staff and children implement with pride. Education

Learning is for life and every day is a new opportunity for discovery and growth. Our job is to prepare each child for the next phase of life. We pride ourselves on our implementation of The Framework and working alongside the children as learning is a shared experience. Educators observe, reflect and extend on the interest and needs of each individual child with a personalised and group program.

At Eastwood Blessings we strive to nurture genuine relationships with our children, families and the wider diverse community. Our team and children engage in a variety of community projects promoting connections, cultural acceptance and teamwork. We promote collaboration with families and recognise you as the child’s first teacher. We hope that every family views our space as a harmonious second home.

Eastwood Blessings works toward building healthy eating habits for your child so we've partnered with "Kids Gourmet Food"'s chefs to create and prepare 5 nutritious meals a day at their state of the art kitchens and get them delivered to us fresh daily using a rotational 6-week menu system. These freshly prepared meals feature seasonal ingredients and aims to educate your child to make smart food choices by introducing ‘always foods’ and ‘sometimes foods.’

Eastwood Blessings' extra-curricular activities encourage diversity and inclusion, ensuring every child feels accepted and develops the ability to think, imagine and play freely.

Sports program

For the children aged 2 and up, the centre offers our soccer sports program. This carefully designed program encourages children to gain fitness regardless of their athletic ability.

Language program

Children 2 and up can enjoy a fun and interactive language program taught by qualified and experienced language teachers. Learning a second language helps support brain development, improves cognitive functioning, analytical and social skills.

Yoga program

Each week the children aged 2 and up will take part in our Yoga Club, nurturing and fostering your child’s mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Cooking Experiences

Children can take part in the ‘Eastwood Blessings Kitchen’ cooking class with hands-on learning such as mixing, measuring and tasting healthy food, guiding your child towards sound food habits. 

Enviro Program

Children of all ages will thoroughly enjoy our Enviro program. The program is a hands-on learning experience which educates children on making better environmentally conscious choices. There is a community garden, recycling bay, as well as opportunities to take part in local community projects such as clean up Australia Day, Plant a Tree Day.

In-house incursions

Incursions are welcomed, valued, and implemented throughout the year at Eastwood Blessings providing interactive and engaging opportunities and experiences such as butterfly gardens, reptile shows, Indigenous music performances, NSW Fire and Rescue services, local NSW Police Visits, dental visits, and more.
