About Kindalin Early Childhood Learning Centre - West Pennant Hills

Kindalin West Pennant Hills is a child care centre for children aged up to 5 years. With three spacious rooms, the children are kept busy with fun and inclusive activities. The centre is open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Outside in the playgrounds, the children enjoy the sandpit, water play, cubby house, art easels, obstacle course, or riding on the bike track. Sustainability is a focus at this centre, and children love to lend a hand with the vegetable and herb garden.

With over 30 years of experience, Kindalin aims to provide every child with a stimulating and challenging environment in which to grow and learn. The provision of an open learning environment and exploratory creative programs enhance each child’s individuality and ability to develop to their full potential.

The Kindalin philosophy and curriculum are based on years of experience and up-to-date early childhood research which recognises the importance of children’s active, hands on involvement in their learning.

Ideal for commuting parents, the centre is just off Castle Hill Road, offers easy access to the M2, and is across the road from Cherrybrook Railway Station.

At Kindalin, children are cared for in an environment that is both stimulating and challenging. The seven core beliefs of the centre’s philosophy are:

  • Partnerships between the children, families and educators.
  • Environments should be both positive and nurturing, seeing children as individuals who are competent and capable learners.
  • Active Learning is encouraged as children explore their surroundings and interact with others.
  • Family support is offered where parents take an active role in their child’s programming. All cultures are celebrated and valued.
  • Community involvement is encouraged, visiting and engaging with other groups and spaces within the local area.
  • Team Culture where educators are respected individually as well as working within a professional group that encourages development and reflection.
  • Sustainability as part of the culture and curriculum, to teach children to learn and respect the environment.

About the curriculum

About the curriculum

Babies use their senses to begin to investigate their environment. As they get older, they start to show more interest in moving objects, colourful mobiles and gentle movement with an educator. Older babies become reliant on the familiar adults that care for them. They become more inquisitive about how the world works and will interact with other children or objects in their space.

Nancy and the team took care of our two boys for a combined 5+ years, so we have gotten to know all of the educators quite well. Many of the same educators have been with the boys their entire journey but many have also moved on to be room coordinators at other Kindalin centres, which is a testament to the environment at Kindalin WPH. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to guide our boys in their early childhood!

Response from the owner 20 Jan 2025

Dear Jonathan, It’s been a joy to be part of your boys’ early years and to watch them grow over the past 5+ years. We’re so proud of our dedicated Educators, and it means so much to hear your appreciation for their care and guidance. Thank you for trusting Kindalin with this important time in your boys’ lives. We wish your family all the best for the future! Kind Regards, Kindalin

I have had the best experience with Kindalin WPH. The staff are so beautiful and caring. My son (1) has settled in beautifully and I feel relaxed knowing he is in the best care.

Going to Kindalin West Pennant Hills was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our 3 children. Within weeks of moving from another child care centre in the area, family and friends noticed the difference in our children. Our daughter’s speech improved dramatically and all 3 were much happier with a significant improvement in their overall social and emotional development. The curriculum at Kindalin is noticeably superior to other centres and Director Nancy leads a fantastic team of Educators headed by fabulous Room Coordinators Rachel and Bethany. The service and care factor shown each and every day by Nancy and her staff is not found at other centres with children and families treated as valued members of the Kindalin family. It’s no suprise that many families in the area have left other centres and moved their children to Kindalin West Penannt Hills.
