I am sincerely grateful for the warm welcome and outstanding support I received from the management and staff at Young Achievers Early Learning Center during my vocational placement for the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. From my very first day until the completion of my practicum, their professionalism, kindness and hospitality made me feel valued and respected. The centre operates with a strong commitment to both the development of children and the expectations of parents for safety, security and quality care. As a male educator, I initially faced challenges due to public concerns arising from an unfortunate incident in Melbourne that had cast doubt over male educators. However, Miss Kathy Memovic offered unwavering support. She took the time to reassure parents that their children remained in safe hands, emphasising that the actions of one individual do not define all men in the profession. More importantly, she demonstrated this trust through her leadership and actions throughout my placement. This experience provided me with invaluable opportunities to strengthen my professional skills in technical tasks, documentation and deepening my ability to connect and empathise with children. As a father of three, I can confidently say that I would enrol my own children at Young Achievers ELC. This is not simply because I completed my practicum there. It is because I personally witnessed the high standard of care and education the centre provides. With its own chef ensuring balanced and healthy meals and meals being properly prepared for children with allergies and medical conditions, the centre goes above and beyond in meeting children’s needs. The curriculum is also closely aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, guaranteeing that every activity meaningfully supports children’s learning and development. Overall, my time at Young Achievers ELC was a profoundly positive and enriching experience. I was not treated merely as a student but as a valued member of the team, which allowed me to grow significantly as a professional during my placement. Thank you to the entire team and management at Young Achievers ELC for an unforgettable and formative experience.

I had an amazing experience during my placement at Young Achievers ELC. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn in such a supportive environment. All the teachers here are friendly and always willing to help. I learned so much from Miss Kathy, Naome, and Miss Dhee. The way they show love and care for the children has truly inspired me and strengthened my passion for becoming a teacher. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed for children of all ages, and it’s wonderful to see how kind and respectful the children are. My husband and I did so many tours in many different childcares and day cares , more than 16 centres. Yet this is the best centre my husband and I both visited. It is super clean and you can smell the beautiful scents once you walk in. This is the cleanest centre. Other centres I visited I could smell wee and other unpleasant smells. Also, they have a professional chef that has been working there for 18 years and she is a super sweet lady with a beautiful smile and looks like she is really enjoying her job. However, in other centres,the owner is the chef or the educators take turns and cook for the kids. I love it that they have a great cook. Another point is the warm feeling I got when I made a tour. Honestly if I can give 100 stars is not enough for this place. It is so cosy and warm. Beautiful toys and furniture. You can feel the love and the care they put in this place. It is so heartwarming. The indoor is so beautiful and the outdoor is gorgeous. I loved it. I was so happy they accepted my child. And my daughter was like I want to come here every day. When she said that from day one I realised I chose the right place for my child. They also have an app. They send what your child has eaten throughout the day which is so thoughtful. I get so happy to know what my child is eating. This is amazing. I love it. Not many centres do that. In a previous centre I would ask every day when picked up my kid what did she eat. And that is an extra work for me. They send pictures of the Activites your child is doing and write detailed information about your child. Furthermore, they do great Activities like crafts, my daughter made a stethoscope and she was pretending she is a doctor. They do amazing things like teaching them about healthy eating through play. Kathy is so lovely. She makes the enrollment process run smoothly. She is helpful, kind and professional. She puts so much love and work in the place, you can tell that clearly. The educators are very lovely and nice. Kathy answers the emails quick and she is amazing I definitely recommend this place. Exceptional Child Care Center – Highly Recommended! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Young achievers! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and caring staff. Ms kathy is wonderful... The teachers are amazing incredibly patient, nurturing, and dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment for the children. The facility is always clean, well-organized, and filled with age-appropriate activities that promote learning and creativity. My child has blossomed since attending, developing new skills, making friends, and genuinely looking forward to each day. I love how they incorporate educational play, structured learning, and outdoor activities to keep the kids engaged. Communication with parents is excellent—they provide regular updates and insights into my child's progress, which gives me peace of mind.
