We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Young Achievers Early Learning Centre. From the moment we found the centre, we felt incredibly grateful and knew our child was in a caring and supportive environment. As working parents, it gives us so much peace of mind knowing our child is in safe hands every day while we are at work. Since joining the centre, our child has absolutely thrived — growing so much in confidence, learning new skills every day, and genuinely enjoying his time there. We have noticed such a positive difference in his development, communication and social skills through the engaging day-to-day learning programs the centre provides. One thing we especially appreciate is the consistency of the educators and staff arrangements. Our child can find transitions and morning drop-offs difficult, particularly with unfamiliar faces, so having familiar educators each day has made such a positive difference. The team has been incredibly patient, caring and understanding, which helped him settle in and feel safe and comfortable. The centre is also always very clean, well organised and welcoming, which reflects the high standard of care provided by the staff. A special thank you to Ms Kathy and the YA team for their dedication, kindness and support. I am Keerthana Voddi from CQUniversity, currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I completed my first placement at Young Achievers Early Childhood Education Center. During my placement, I had a very positive experience and greatly appreciated the warm and supportive environment of the centre. I was impressed by the way the educators treated children with care, respect, and professionalism. The staff were highly supportive and helped me develop important professional skills such as writing observations, engaging with children, and understanding child protection practices. I especially appreciated the guidance and encouragement provided by the centre supervisor, Miss Kathy, along with the support from all other staff members. Because of my positive learning experience, I chose the same centre for my second placement. I believe this centre provides excellent real-time practical learning opportunities and helps placement students gain confidence and professional skills. I also admired the strong relationships maintained between educators, children, and families. The staff are friendly, supportive, and actively involve placement students in daily activities, observations, and learning experiences.

My name is Shrijana Bista, and I am currently studying at Excelsia College University. This is my second practicum placement at Young Achievers Early Learning Centre, and I intentionally chose to return because of the incredibly welcoming, supportive, and nurturing environment created by Mrs Kathy Memovic and the entire team. Prior to coming to Young Achievers ELC, I experienced placement environments where I did not always feel included, supported, or valued as a student. At times, this made me feel uncertain and less confident in my abilities as a future educator. Returning to Young Achievers reminded me how important it is for students to feel respected, encouraged, and genuinely part of the team while learning in the early childhood profession. From the moment I returned, I once again felt welcomed, appreciated, and included by all educators and staff members. The team consistently took the time to guide me, mentor me, answer my questions, and involve me in meaningful experiences that strengthened both my confidence and professional knowledge. Rather than feeling like “just a student,” I truly felt like part of the Young Achievers family. Mrs Kathy Memovic and the educators are deeply passionate about supporting and mentoring future early childhood professionals. Their encouragement, patience, and willingness to teach have helped me grow tremendously throughout my practicum journey. They continuously provided valuable skills, practical experiences, and professional guidance that I will carry forward into my future career as an educator. I was particularly inspired by the way the educators build respectful and caring relationships with children and families. The service creates a warm, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment where children’s wellbeing, health, safety, and emotional security are always prioritised. The genuine care shown towards every child and family reflects the strong values and professionalism of the entire team. Being included so positively within the team allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the early childhood sector and strengthened my passion for becoming an educator. Young Achievers ELC has shown me the importance of mentorship, teamwork, inclusion, and creating a supportive learning culture not only for children and families, but also for students entering the profession. I am extremely grateful to Mrs Kathy Memovic and the entire Young Achievers team for welcoming me back for a second placement and continuing to support my professional growth. This experience has been incredibly meaningful to me, and I would highly recommend Young Achievers Early Learning Centre to future practicum students and families because of the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown every day.

As a parent, I’ve had a wonderful experience with Young Achievers Early Learning Centre Liverpool. The centre provides a warm and welcoming environment, and it’s clear that the educators are passionate about supporting each child’s learning and wellbeing. I would especially like to recognise Ms Kathy, the centre director. She is an incredible person with a heart of gold and truly cares for the children as if they were her own, always speaking gently and respectfully while guiding them with patience, kindness, and understanding. I had a wonderful experience at Young Achievers Early Learning Child Care Center during my placement. It is a very nice and welcoming environment for children. The centre provides a safe, caring, and supportive space where kids can learn and grow happily. The Director and Supervisor are very kind, supportive, and professional. They guide staff and students really well. All the staff members are friendly, helpful, and always ready to support each other. I truly enjoyed my placement here and would highly recommend this centre to families looking for quality early childhood education and care.

Very grateful that the owner, Ms. Kathy, accepted our boy and let him stay despite being handful at times. She communicates with us whatever she thinks would help our son progress more and connects us to people that could help us on my son's needs and to have a smooth transition to the big school. The educators are lovely too. They look after the kids very well and we could see that our son enjoyed his stay there. My husband and I are very thankful.
