My kids have not only received high quality education but they are loved by their educators. Staff turn over is minimal, the facilities are top notch and I feel confident leaving my children in their care. Ann Maree and Ves make you feel a part of their family. Little Peter’s Child Care Centres was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves to be known, valued, and genuinely respected.
Established in 2002 by Ves and Ann-Maree in loving memory of their twin son, Peter, our centre carries his name and spirit into everything we do. What began as a heartfelt tribute has grown into a trusted place of belonging for generations of families.
Our holistic, family-owned approach means children aged 2–6 aren’t just cared for, but truly known and understood. Through warmth, familiarity, and genuine relationships, we’re privileged to be part of each child’s earliest years, helping them feel safe, secure, and connected as they grow.

Here’s what makes us different:
We believe that what children eat shapes so much more than just their bodies, it influences their energy, their mood, their concentration, and their long-term wellbeing. That's why nutrition is never an afterthought at Little Peter's; it's front of mind in everything we plan.
All our meals are cooked fresh on the premises, with a whole food focus that keeps things simple, natural, and nourishing. We pay close attention to gut health, knowing how deeply it can affect a child's growth, immunity, and even mood, so we're thoughtful about the ingredients we choose and how we prepare them.
Every day, children enjoy a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, giving them the chance to explore new tastes, textures, and colours while building healthy habits early. We also focus on balance across the different food groups, helping little bodies get exactly what they need to grow strong.
Food is also a hands-on learning experience. Children take part in cooking activities where they learn not just about healthy eating, but about the story behind their food, including where it comes from and the impact it has on our environment. This includes learning to recycle food waste, helping children understand the small ways they can care for the world around them.

Little Peter’s Childcare Centre has been such a blessing for our family. All three of my kids have attended, and each of them has been cared for with so much love and attention. Little peters is not just a child care centre it’s like another home away from her for my child. Ves and Ann-Maree (owners) are genuinely the most kind and genuine humans you will ever meet, it is not just a business they truly love and care for the families at their centre. They go above and beyond their role as owners because they both have hearts of gold. All the staff also match the same values and work extremely hard each day.
