Finding a daycare you can trust with your little one is no small task—but from the moment I walked into Hatchlings, I knew I'd found something special. The warmth and kindness of the staff, the thoughtful activities, and the genuine care they show each child is beyond what we could have hoped for. My child doesn't want to leave in the afternoons, he would rather stay and continue playing with the staff and his friends. Even after moving homes to another suburb, I still make the trip to Hatchlings each day instead of moving to a daycare closer to home, why? because my son loves it. I’ve watched him grow in confidence, curiosity, and joy—all thanks to the nurturing environment Hatchlings creates. The communication with parents is fantastic too—I always feel informed and included in their day-to-day moments via their kindy app. It’s clear this isn’t just a job for the team—it’s a passion. My kids go to this centre and they really love it. The team are so friendly, they recognise each parent and I'm always welcomed when I get the kids for the day. As a dad my wife does alot of the caring for the kids but since going back to work it has made our life easier knowing the kids are looked after well. Pick up and drop off is a breeze, the kids are always happy to go and sometimes want to stay as long as they can. It's pretty cool they do extra classes too like Mandarin and OT. My son looks forward to sharing his day and chatting about what class he did earlier that day. Thanks to Rachel and her team, they are great.

Rachel and the team of educators at Hatchlings Waterford West are incredible! I really struggled to find a daycare close to home who had vacancies where the staff actully cared about our children's development and safety. We travel half hour each way to attend and couldn't be happier. My daughter in the nursery is hitting her milestone early and my son in Snr Kindy is being prepared for big school prep next year. If you are looking for long-standing staff with genuine connections with your little ones.. cannot praise them enough!

After moving my son with global developmental delay to Hatchlings Waterford, we had seen a huge positive change in his behaviour, attitude and desire to attend daycare! The educators went above and beyond assisting him in being comfortable to learn in his way. It was a obvious choice to place my second son at the centre and he also absolutely loves attending the Kindy program there. In addition to the amazing educators the centre manager Rachel, is very approachable and understanding. We love Hatchlings and we will miss the centre when our family transitions out from needing care!

The hatchlings family are amazing bunch of educator's. They are always welcoming, happy, smiles every day. They have done a amazingly with my daughter. I see the results weekly through my daughter's speech and how she has come out of her shell. Thank you soo much

Hatchlings Waterford West has been an amazing place for my children since they started in the nursery room. It’s been so reassuring to have everything provided—meals, sheets, and nappies—making life so much easier as a busy parent. Even when we needed adjustments for food intolerances, the team went above and beyond to accommodate my child’s needs. The variety of activities is fantastic! My kids have loved the cooking days, Mandarin lessons, sports programs, and Bush Kinder. It’s wonderful to see them learning and experiencing so many different things. Another big plus is the consistency in staff—so many educators have been there long-term, which really helps build strong relationships and a sense of security for the children. I couldn’t be happier with the care and education my little ones have received at Hatchlings. Highly recommend!

Hatchlings Early Learning Centre at Waterford West has been amazing for my children! The educators are so caring and genuinely love what they do. It’s great to see familiar faces every day, as many of the staff have been there long-term, which gives the kids a real sense of security. The rooms are well-organized, and the outdoor play areas are fantastic. My children have learned so much and come home happy every day. I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they provide!

The team consistently exceeds expectations in ensuring my daughter's comfort and well-being. Their friendly and approachable demeanor fosters a positive and supportive environment. My daughter regularly expresses positive experiences, detailing daily activities and interactions. The educators have been instrumental in facilitating her adjustment and development of healthy peer relationships. This is an exceptional facility with dedicated and caring staff.

We have moved to this centre in 2023 after a bad experience in the first centre we sent my son to. Best decision we have made. All the educators are lovely and communicates well. I love their outdoor play time - real grass, dirt, sun, sand, etc. Children gets to play with different ages from toddler to schoolies which I like so my son gets to engage with other children regardless of age. Most importantly, my son is happy to be at this centre, and he had developed connection and good relationship with his educators.

My 3 kids have been going to Hatchlings at Waterford West for almost 6 years from the age of 6 months until 5 yr old the kids love it as do I the staff are caring and do a fantastic job educating the kids i would recommend to everybody..
