Both my kids attend Montessori Academy in Altona Meadows. Best decision I ever made to move my kids from a play based centre to Montessori. Staff are very attentive and helpful. My kids both enjoy going in and they love their educators very much. I love the learning that happens in the centre my kids have shown amazing growth in their education. Thanks team!

Our son has attended Montessori for 2 years and really loves it. He’s so excited to attend which makes it much easier for us to not worry about him being unsettled. This is because the educators are amazing and so caring. The learning is also fantastic and he’s really learnt so much. He surprises us everyday. Very clean (my children have never picked up the usual daycare bugs) centre with warm teachers who really care about their children. The children are respected and listened to, and it really doesn't have that chaotic vibe I've seen at play-based centres. Management and staff are quick to act upon concerns or queries (even if minor) and as a parent you feel like your child is in good hands. My children have immensely benefited from the Montessori principles modelled and taught. In my older son's case, I have found that these have prepared him academically far better for school than sessional kinder (which he also attended and).

We’ve had a really positive experience at Montessori. The educators are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about each child’s wellbeing, which has made a big difference in helping my son feel safe and comfortable every day. I especially appreciate the multicultural environment and how the children are introduced to different cultures in a natural and engaging way. The structured daily routine keeps the kids active while supporting their learning and development, which I think is such a great balance at this age. It’s a nurturing, well-organised place where children are encouraged to grow in confidence and curiosity. I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a supportive and enriching start to their child’s education.

We just enrolled our daughter at Altona Meadows Montessori Academy and its been the best decision I have made since moving here. The communication between the staff and myself has been excellent. Finding the right early learning environment as first-time parents isn’t something you take lightly,and naturally, we were quite nervous about getting it right for our son, Eden. That meant doing our homework properly. We visited centre after centre across the west,close to 18 in-person tours, conversations, and walkthroughs, and while many looked good on the surface, none truly ticked all the boxes… until we stepped into Montessori Academy Altona. From that very first visit, there was a clear difference. It wasn’t just what was said,it was what was shown. The curriculum genuinely reflects the Montessori philosophy, not just in name but in execution. At other centres, the approach was often marketed well, but when we asked deeper questions about learning methods and structure, the substance just wasn’t there. Montessori Academy, on the other hand, demonstrated a level of thought, intention, and understanding that immediately stood out. Beyond the curriculum, the overall environment gave us a strong sense of confidence,something we were really looking for as new parents. The centre is exceptionally clean, well-organised, and thoughtfully run, with children’s needs and cleanliness clearly a high priority. There’s a noticeable level of attentiveness from the staff,children are supervised closely, routines are structured, and safety is clearly a priority. Compared to some of the other places we visited, where things felt a little loose or unpredictable, here everything feels calm, controlled, and genuinely nurturing. Since enrolling our son in the early kindergarten program, the growth we’ve seen has been incredible. At just 3 years old, he’s become more confident, more independent, and far more expressive in his communication. Most importantly, he absolutely loves going,there’s genuine excitement every time it’s “kindi day,” which says everything. Miss Wyn, Anu, and Amanda,and Ana, the previous manager,are exceptional educators and true ambassadors for this awesome institution, along with all the other staff who we may not interact with as often but who clearly contribute to the same high standard. For us, Montessori Academy isn’t just another childcare centre,it’s a place that clearly cares about what they do and how they do it. As first-time parents, that reassurance means everything. The team should be incredibly proud of the environment they’ve created,we feel very lucky to have found them.
