Choosing Simba St. Ives for our daughter’s daycare was absolutely the right decision. The educators are deeply invested in each child’s development, and our daughter has formed such a strong bond with them. The learning environments are safe, engaging, and stimulating. There’s always something exciting going on, whether it’s baking banana bread, making collages from fallen leaves, or navigating the outdoor obstacle course. In the time she’s been there, we’ve seen her confidence and language skills grow significantly. Hanishka’s dedication shines through in everything she does - her warmth, her attentiveness, and her extensive experience in early childhood learning are evident from day one. We trust her and the team completely.

I am so happy that I chose for my daughter. After attending another centre where I felt the care and educational program were lacking, moving to Simba was the best decision for our family. My daughter settled in so quickly, which honestly surprised me, and she genuinely enjoys going to day care. The staff are all incredibly kind, caring and attentive, and the director is so warm, supportive and approachable. You can really feel that the educators truly care about the children and create a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. I’ve noticed such a positive difference in my daughter since starting here, and I feel very grateful to have found a centre I can genuinely trust and feel comfortable with. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a caring and supportive childcare centre!

We have two boys--3yo and 5yo--and Simba Education has been an absolute gift for our family. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew this was somewhere special. The educators are warm, experienced, and genuinely passionate about the children in their care. Both boys have thrived here--not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. It's clear the team takes the time to truly know each child as an individual, which means so much to us as parents. What really sets Simba apart is the quality of their programs. The Reggio Emilia-inspired approach keeps learning fresh and engaging; there's always something creative and meaningful happening, from art therapy and language lessons to incursions, excursions, and physical movement activities. Our boys come home excited to tell us what they've been up to! We also love the little things that make life easier; the fresh, dietitian-designed meals prepared on site, the regular updates through the app, and the fact that everything from nappies to sunscreen is taken care of. It truly feels like a home away from home. If you're looking for a safe, nurturing, and genuinely inspiring early learning environment for your child, look no further. Simba Education is the real deal--we can't recommend them highly enough!

I recently came to visit this centre as a parent looking for care, and I left feeling really worried about what I saw. When I walked in, the place didn’t look very clean. I understand with children it can get messy, but it didn’t feel like it was being cleaned or looked after properly during the day. While I was there, I saw children eating food from the floor and staff were nearby but didn’t say anything or stop it. I know these things can happen, but what worried me was that no one spoke to the children or guided them. I also noticed there was not much interaction between staff and the children. The staff were talking to each other, but not really engaging with the kids. Some children were crying and looked upset, and one staff member told a child to “shush” in a way that felt more frustrated than caring. I tried to mention some of my concerns during the tour, but I felt like they were not taken seriously. When I was leaving, I saw the area manager there and it seemed like they were okay with how things were, which surprised me. I asked about cleaning and was told the centre is cleaned once a week and maintained during the day, but from what I saw, it didn’t look like much cleaning was happening. The centre says it is a small family-owned place, but from my experience, it did not feel like the level of care and quality I was expecting. Overall, I left feeling very uncomfortable and worried about the children there, and I would not feel confident sending my child to this centre. I did complete the tour form, and I am happy for management to contact me. I would really like to give more feedback about my experience.
