Kate is an amazing committed and passionate educator and any family would be lucky to have her. She is a huge support to us and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. Abigail (now 2.5 and a bit) has been attending since she was 15 months, starting out 2 days a week. It was our first experience of daycare and Kate was so relaxed and at ease that Abigail fell asleep in her arms at story time the first day. Even now she will often ask to go to Kate's Place as soon as she wakes up! Her home is fantastically equipped for kids, with a gorgeous backyard space that they can go in and out from easily and there's a great mix of free play and more structured activity like cooking, digging the veggie patch, and art and craft. She is a true marvel and she loves and knows every child in her care. We consider her part of our family and would not hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for first rate care.

Kate Murphy is a beyond exceptional as a childcare educator. Our son has spent four magical years in Kate's Family care and has thrived under her guidance. Her house and yard is a magical wonderland, spotlessly clean, perfectly organised and you wouldn't know it at first glance but her house is busting to the seams with toys, books, arts and crafts for every age of child. She spends time in child-led play, as well as working towards pre-school and school. She treats every child as utterly special and celebrates their milestones as she would her own children. Our son was always shaking the gate to begin his days there and blossomed at Kate's as he learnt to cook, discovered the wonders of gardening and underwent art and crafts and built solid friendships with other children. He started kindergarten and school ahead of others due to her teachings. As a parent I have taken Kate's advice more than my own family - she's an invaluable resource and support. You can see her bond with children when you get to know her own family who are tight- knit, and her children are nothing short of a delight. Every day our son spent at Kate's place was a blessing that would be impossible to replicate under any other day care, anywhere. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kate's Family Day Care to anyone. She's literally one in a million and will will miss her terribly.
