Caring staff with a great centre.

I’ve had a great experience sending my baby here. In particular Ronnie is so kind and it’s clear to see how much she cares about the wellbeing of every child. On top of that she’s gone out of her way to take care of me (the parent) and make me feel at ease everyday and welcoming feedback. They post so many pictures throughout the day and food/health updates are live in the app. Educators in other rooms greet us by name every morning, so it truly feels like a great community.

About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

“Let the child be the scriptwriter, director and the actor in their own play” - Magda Gerber

Nursery Space: 6 weeks – 2 years

Learning starts from before birth, and our Educators have created a welcoming and nurturing nursery environment where each baby feels safe to explore and discover new things - through their senses, their communication and cues (body language, facial expression and sounds) and through experimentation. On any given day you can see the nursery children engaging in all types of play including sensory play, music time, story time and more. Every day provides a brand new, exciting adventure for our babies to support their development, learning and wellbeing.

Toddler Space: 2 - 3 years

Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development. This happens through carefully planned music, dance, games, role playing and reading experiences.

On any given day the Toddlers can be seen developing their numeracy by building a tower, sorting objects, pointing and identifying shapes and patterns and participating in counting songs and games.

Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn-taking, developing self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. Our skilled team helps children through talking, planning and role modelling.

Preschool Space: 3 – 6 years

Preschool is a unique time for learning with peers and developing skills for later learning including confidence and curiosity, important skills for starting school. Our play-based program has school readiness at its core, encouraging active engagement in learning and supporting a range of positive developmental outcomes including resilience, independence, critical thinking and creativity.

The oral language supports literacy learning and a child’s oral language ability is the best predictor for later success in learning to read and write. Hearing the sounds within a language is the first critical step for all literacy learning. Our team supports our Preschool children's literacy development by engaging in rich discussions, reading, storytelling, dramatic play and experimentation all of which introduce new vocabulary as part of everyday conversations.

Throughout the Preschool year, children use their language to share ideas, ask questions, express themselves, and connect with peers and adults in social settings.

Social-emotional skills, including the ability to self-regulate emotions, are supported through group learning experiences. Our team supports each child’s social and emotional development by labelling and talking about emotions and supporting appropriate responses as together, they engage in new and challenging situations. Our goal in the Preschool year is to prepare children and families for a smooth transition to primary school.

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. We believe that by encouraging active participation (such as growing their own fruit and vegetables, preparing, and finally cooking!) children learn to appreciate and understand the importance of healthy eating across a wide variety of food.

Our centre offers seasonal whole food-based menus – created to delight the fussiest eaters.

Meet the team

Meet the team

I have been part of the early childhood education sector since 2013, starting my career at our Campbelltown centre. Over the past 12 years, my journey has been one of constant learning and discovery, not only about myself as an educator and leader but also through the amazing insights I’ve gained from the children in our care. I am continually inspired by how each child uniquely interprets the world around them, making every day a new and exciting experience.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned that children are deeply influenced by their surroundings, families, social interactions, and physical environment. This understanding shapes my teaching style, which focuses on fostering connections and building strong relationships with each child and their family. My approach is inclusive, celebrating each child’s culture, interests, and abilities, and ensuring they feel supported and valued in their learning journey.

I am passionate about the benefits of quality play-based learning. It plays a crucial role in a child’s development by nurturing creativity, social skills, problem-solving abilities, emotional regulation, language proficiency, and curiosity. Research highlights that children who participate in quality early education programs are better equipped with the social, cognitive, and emotional skills needed for school and beyond. These benefits have lasting effects, influencing educational success, employment opportunities, and social skills later in life. In our Campbelltown early learning centre, children learn to share, play, and cooperate with peers, developing important traits like empathy and collaboration that will serve them well in the future.

I am proud to lead a team of experienced and dedicated educators who value the diversity of our community and the critical role they play in shaping the minds of future leaders. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where children feel supported and families feel valued. I believe communication and trust are the foundations of strong relationships with our families. By maintaining open and honest communication, we aim to create a community where families feel confident and connected. Together, we work to provide the best possible start for every child in our care.

I look forward to welcoming you to our Campbelltown early learning centre.

Community kids Campbelltown is a great daycare and early education centre, for years my child has always been well looked after. Between the carers, management and cooks the staff here have always been up front and honest. My child has always had someone to make them happy when they don't want to leave their parents and are upset. Through the years I've seen workers here always happy and tentative to the kids with a passion and I'm happy to see that still being the case. With Stacey the new manager as well we are always greeted with a nice good morning and a feel good energy. Highly recommend this daycare.
