My wife and I are incredibly happy with Guardian Montmorency. Our daughter has been there since the beginning of 2025 and has absolutely thrived and connected with educators and other children in Nurseries 1 and 2. We looked at three childcare centres in the area before deciding to go with Guardian Monty - it just had the most authentic and welcoming vibe and we felt very assured leaving our baby with the staff there. I must say that I read the review by "Lisa Ariganello" and was completely shocked. Nothing written in that review lines up with our experience - we sometimes chat with other parents at pickup time and they all share similar experiences with ours. We've never seen educators on their phones, they are always around the children and fostering their development, and the children are often outside in the yard having fun, when the weather permits. The facility is consistently clean and well-ventilated for aromas. Monique and her support team are friendly, professional, accessible and responsive. Another great thing is the daily StoryPark update - we love them! We can see all the varied activities the kids get up to each day. Our fav part of the day is getting that notification at around 3pm when the update comes in and scrolling through all the photos. Could not recommend this centre enough.

We’ve been part of the Guardian Montmorency community for 18months and from the start it’s been a wonderful, warm and fun setting for our children. The thoughtful educative experiences, the great meals, the proactive leadership and glorious, invested educators are all parts of what makes us a happy customers. High recommend!

Our daughter has made so many great connections and has had awesome experiences! As we prepare for 4 year old Kinder next year we are sad that it will be her last year at Monty. Excellent educators, genuine care and compassion and awesome and varied healthy food options!!!

Guardian staff are fantastic with the our kids! Especially Nat ( our boys absolutely adore her ) not to say that the other educators aren’t just as good. We’ve always felt very safe with our kids attending and never had any concerns , all staff are very friendly and caring. The activities that they get the kids doing are great and the kids like teaching me what they’ve learnt that day .

I have two children attending Guardian 5 days a week. The educators are wonderful! So caring and truly invested in my kids' wellbeing. They plan great activities and my kids learn so much! It's also created a great sense of community for us. The other families attending the centre are lovely and we've had lots of great play dates!

I'm submitting this review again, as it was obviously rejected the first time. I think more now than ever, it's important for parents to be aware of the quality of these childcare centres, especially the ones that are poorly managed and focused on profit over childrens' safety. One of the main reasons I was concerned about my child's safety at Guardian was because on multiple times I walked in on educators playing on their personal phones. Not to mention one particular educator was constantly staring at the iPad. In light of the recent news, I can only hope someone at Guardian is taking a strong look at their staffing issues and child safety policies. -------------------- Avoid Guardian Montmorency all costs! Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. This centre looks nothing like these photos, which were obviously taken a long time ago. The rooms are absolutely filthy. I don’t think they even mop the floors or vacuum the carpets. All the toys are stained and the tables barely get wiped down. The food is atrocious and not nutritious at all. Our son was in the toddler room and we knew we had to get him out of there within the first week. It was a horrible experience and we felt so guilty dropping him off at Guardian Montmorency everyday. The staff barely pay attention to the kids and they did the same activities day after day. One of the educators was always on her phone or the iPad. They don’t have the open free-flowing indoor/outdoor floorplan like other centres, which meant the kids stayed inside for the majority of the day. When we questioned this, the educators did say that it’s a pain to get all the kids outside because of the layout. The outside yard is so small and on a massive slope. They spend a lot of time showing the kids things on the iPad. On multiple occasions, at pick up time our son had a dirty nappy, not to mention the entire room smelt like poop. They didn’t do much to help him settle in or make him feel welcome. Often times at he was off playing by himself. He didn’t seem to connect with the other kids and educators. When we brought all of these issues up to management we were met with hostility and she accused me of lying. I was then ignored and given the cold shoulder by one educator who would storm out when I walked in the room. The whole place has an extremely unhappy feeling about it from the management right down to the staff. I’m really surprised they’re even able to operate still. We changed centres and our son is thriving. He is so happy to go and see his friends. The new centre has made an effort to make us feel welcome and has a more positive environment with healthy, nutritious food and a great outdoor area. Such a huge difference! Our only mistake was enrolling him in Guardian in the first place.

My three children have been coming here for years, and it’s truly a fantastic centre that’s made a real difference in their lives. I love all the experiences and excursions they get to enjoy - such great opportunities for learning and fun! The team is always friendly, and the management is lovely and approachable. Highly recommend! 5 stars for us!

We are thoroughly enjoying our time at Guardian Montmorency. My children are so settled and love coming to daycare everyday. The educators are so welcoming and nurturing. The centre itself is very clean and bright with great play spaces inside and out. We highly recommend this service.

Highly recommend, my son started going when he was 8months old and we have had a number of exceptional educators and he has had a leap in confidence, independence & chatter! Management have also been easy to talk with whenever there has been questions and providing information where required.

My son loves the Kindergarten program. It has developed his independence & confidence greatly. Monique and the leadership team are warm and welcoming, they always have time to help in any way. I highly recommend Guardian Montmorency for age groups of children.
