I would not recommend this childcare facility to any family.<br><br>Our experience has been deeply concerning, particularly regarding the significant disconnect between management and educators, the lack of accountability, and the manner in which legitimate parental concerns have been addressed.<br><br>On multiple occasions, our children were prevented from participating in outdoor play with their peers because their shoes had reportedly gone missing while in the centre’s care. Rather than taking responsibility or investigating the matter appropriately, staff placed the blame on us, despite photographic evidence confirming that our children had arrived wearing their shoes that morning. To penalise young children for circumstances entirely beyond their control is, in my opinion, unacceptable.<br><br>Even more concerning was our eldest child repeatedly coming home and expressing that she did not feel safe at kindergarten. As parents, there are few things more distressing than hearing your young child express concerns about their safety in an environment where their wellbeing should be the absolute priority.<br><br>Unfortunately, these incidents were not isolated. We experienced numerous concerns relating to child safety, wellbeing, staff conduct and the centre’s overall management. When these matters were raised, we felt our concerns were repeatedly dismissed, deflected or met with responses that undermined our experiences rather than demonstrating genuine accountability or a willingness to resolve the issues.<br><br>Our concerns have been serious enough to warrant formal complaints to the relevant NSW early childhood education regulatory authorities. We did notify the administrative management of this as they they still wanted to charge us fees which we denied, when we mentioned we would reach out to the authorities they said “That won’t be necessary, we will forfeit those due fees in good faith” ok….<br><br>I have also noticed a recent influx of five-star reviews, which raises questions for me given our experience. I would encourage prospective families to look beyond online ratings, ask detailed questions about supervision, child safety procedures and complaint handling, and undertake their own thorough assessment before enrolling.<br><br>A childcare centre should provide a safe, nurturing and transparent environment where children feel secure and parents feel heard. Regrettably, our experience fell significantly short of those expectations.<br><br>If you look in the box hill and gables community groups you’ll see the real reviews, there’s hundreds of zero star reviews.<br><br>I sincerely hope these concerns are addressed appropriately, as the safety and wellbeing of children should never be compromised.

I visited Mini Masterminds Childcare in Box Hill, and I had a really lovely experience. Kirandeep was so welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout the visit. She took the time to show me around the centre and explained everything so nicely, making me feel comfortable and welcome. She was genuinely lovely to interact with and made a great impression. The centre itself was very clean, neat and well maintained, and I loved seeing how caring, gentle and affectionate the staff were with the children. Overall, it felt like a warm and nurturing environment where the children are well looked after. Thank you, Kiran, for making the visit such a positive experience!

Choosing a childcare centre felt like such a big decision, and Mini Masterminds Box Hill Centre made it easy. From the first tour we felt welcome, and the educators took the time to get to know our family.

The nursery room at Mini Masterminds Box Hill Centre is calm and homly. The team are patient and gentle with the babys, and they are never too busy for a cuddle. Ethan has reached some big milestones since starting, and the team celebrate every one with us.

Five stars for Mini Masterminds Box Hill Centre. The team are kind, the learning is play-based and fun, and our daughter is thriving. I feel good about her being ready now for school.

I can’t speak highly enough of the nursery team at Mini Masterminds Box Hill Centre. They supported us through sleep, solids and teething with so much kindness and understanding. Our baby is happy and secure, and I feel supported as a new parent too.

Our son has been in the nursery at Mini Masterminds Box Hill Centre since he was 6 months, and we have loved watching him grow. The sensory play, songs and floor time are perfect for little ones, and the team talk to the babies all day long. He is babbling more and more, and he is so settled and happy when we arrive to pick him up.

We really appreciate the warm, welcoming community and supportive environment at Mini Minds Box Hill. The Kids absolutely love it here.
