We have used Leanne’s Family Day Care for many years now and could not be happier with our choice. My daughter started when she was 2, and shortly after was diagnosed with additional needs. Leanne was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process and has gone above and beyond to help us navigate it. She put in place adjustments and care strategies that I know a larger centre simply wouldn’t have been able to provide. The warmth, the family atmosphere — everything I hoped for in childcare, we found here. We continue to use Leanne for after-school and holiday care, and she truly feels like part of our family. We honestly would not have survived without her

Leanne has been amazing in her care for my son. This is his second year with Leanne and her care of him has been nothing but exceptional to the point if you ask him if he would like to go to school, he replies " no, me go Ms.Nan house" as he calls her. Leanne's care and approach to child caring has been nothing but first class and I only wish I had found her earlier! Thank you Leanne for all you do for my son and knowing that he is in the best of hands when we are at work is a great mind relief! ♥️

She settled in by the second day and has never looked back, I don’t even get a goodbye half the time now she just loves going there! Leanne is one of the most calm, nurturing + gentle people I’ve met and she was just who I needed in my little girls life. She provides a safe space for the kids to express themselves and we’re so grateful + glad for her love and care. I’ve proudly been a part of the Canning Vale community since 2004 and established my business at its current location in 2005. Providing a safe and nurturing early learning environment with a strong focus on child safety and well-being practices.
My personal philosophy is to follow a holistic approach that nurtures the whole child. I provide a child-led, play-based program that nurtures exploration, creativity, and development. Activities include messy play, sensory play, nature play, the KIDDO sports program, child yoga and breathwork, and a school readiness program tailored for children preparing for kindergarten. My purpose-built indoor and outdoor environments are designed to foster a sense of ownership while encouraging the development of self-help skills, resilience, and self-confidence.
I hold diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as a University Diploma in Teacher Assistance, ensuring a professional and well-rounded approach to child development. My service is registered for child care subsidy, and is monitored and regulated by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit here in Western Australia alongside my amazing award winning service - Nature Alliance Family Day Care Service.
To make life easier for families, my daily fee includes nappies, wipes, nappy cream, sunscreen, nutritious meals and snacks, and access to a family communication app. For rest and sleep, I provide a warm, calming environment with dedicated spaces, including a separate sleep area for babies that aligns with their home routines.
