Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

As the children move through the different rooms in the centre, the curriculum evolves with them. The educators set goals for the children and celebrate as they reach their milestones. At every stage, the educators are tailoring the curriculum and goals to each child’s individual needs.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.

We are so grateful to the team at Goodstart Early Learning for the wonderful care they've provided to our three children. The educators are kind, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's development and wellbeing. About year ago, we initially had our daughter waitlisted at the daycare. At that time we had just moved into the area, but ended up placing her in another daycare due to no availability and we could wait no longer. However, two months ago due to changing circumstances, we decided to re -enroll her to Goodstart as there were open vacancies and the centre was just a short stroll from home, we also remembered the positive vibe we felt from staff and children when we conducted the tour a year earlier.<br><br>Though at first we were hesitant and questioning whether we were making the right choice to move our daughter out of her current daycare as we had a positive experience there, but we now know this was the right choice. The director, staff and educators have been incredibly warm and welcoming. Our daughter also appears to enjoy this daycare alot more than her previous one which we believe is a true reflection of the dedicated educators and the overall positive environment at the centre.

Goodstart truly felt like our second family in Perth. As a mum, it meant everything to know my children were genuinely loved and cared for, not just looked after. A good quality daycare isn’t about the building or facilities, but the people inside, and the educators here are incredible.
