We have been in Froebel since 2023, when my first child was there in the preschool room. My second joined in 2024, and will be leaving to go to school next year, whilst my third is still in the Nursery room. My children and I have had so many fond memories of Froebel, whilst my children loved the outdoor space and that they get to be outdoors almost everyday even on days with light rain, I loved the genuineness of all the teachers. The teachers there are warm and engaging, and very hands on. You know that feeling that when you go on tours and you wonder whether the centre is only putting on a show to attract potential families? I can guarantee you that Froebel isn't one of them. I really love Froebel's philosophy, how they give time and space, how they positively guide children's behaviour in challenging situations, and how they are a child safe organisation. They really reflect on their practices and take feedback carefully. I love how sustainable they are - for example, a lot of their displays don't have plastic - a little goes a long way. Even if their current quality rating is meeting, I personally think they should be exceeding. So if you ever go to Froebel and do a tour, and become one of their families, you're in luck - because your most precious little one is going to be so well looked after by dedicated teachers. 😊 Also I wanted to thank Froebel, for growing my second child to grow out of their shell and become more confident in going to school next year (2026). I can't be thankful enough.

Our child has been attending Froebel Alexandria for two years, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The team provides an incredibly supportive environment with engaging activities and a thoughtful curriculum, and the centre fosters a real sense of community. Every single educator we have come across has been extremely competent, supportive and above all genuinely caring and kind. Staff retention seems very high, allowing children to develop a real connection with the educators and to feel safe and comfortable. Communication is also excellent. We feel immensely lucky to have found Froebel, and to watch our daughter grow and thrive in such a positive environment.

We have sent our daughter (now in school) and son (attending for 1 year now) and have watched them grow while at the centre. We have such trust in the educators who take take joy in minding our son in the baby room, he is given all the tools to grown in self confidence and develop his language and socialisation. My daughter was there for almost 3 years grew in all ways, to aid her confidence in starting school, she made long lasting friendships and has such fond memories and connections with the educators at the centre. I couldn't recommend Froebel, Alexandria enough!!

We feel so incredibly fortunate to have found Froebel Erskineville for our son. From his very first day, the team has gone above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where he has truly thrived. The educators at Froebel are exceptional – they are not only professional and attentive but also genuinely passionate about early childhood development. Our son has built strong, trusting relationships with his carers, and it’s clear how much they care for him as an individual. A special mention goes to Kristina (Kris), whose kindness, energy, and ability to truly connect with the children has made a huge impact on our son’s experience. He talks about Kristine often and looks forward to seeing her every day. We’re especially impressed with Froebel’s focus on inquiry-based learning and their strong commitment to sustainability and nature-based play. Our son has become so curious and confident, and we’ve noticed remarkable growth in his language, social skills, and independence. The centre itself is beautifully designed, with engaging indoor spaces and an amazing outdoor area where the children can explore, discover, and connect with nature. We couldn’t be happier with the care and education our son is receiving at Froebel Erskineville. It gives us such peace of mind knowing he is in such capable, loving hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Froebel to any family looking for a truly outstanding daycare experience.

I regret sending my son to this preschool. I withdrew him after a short period of attending. Reply to your comment. I was extremely disappointed with how frobel dealt with the issue. I felt that you were trying to put the blame on me and my child. We never received an apology. I’m happy to hear that you feel you have addressed the issue with your staff. I think it is the whole culture in the preschool room that needs to change and the way they speak to the children

Our daughter attended Froebel for 3 1/2 years and was always talking about their latest experiment, piece of art and craft, and the friends she had made. It's obvious the educators really care and are invested in how each child is going. The German was an absolute bonus for us as our family has German heritage. Froëbel Alexandria is fantastic. Great educators who go above and beyond for our son. Great support when needed, great education and a great programme which ensures not only academic but social development. Enthusiastic educators are always happy to provide updates. The centre feels like a family and I’d hope they have room for when/if another member of our family comes along!
