we love sending our son to Carnes Hill Montessori. All of the educators are lovely and he always comes home happy and enriched.

I couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre. My baby started two months ago when she was just 6 months old, and as a first time mum, it wasn’t an easy decision to leave her but it truly was the best one. From the very beginning, the educators made me feel comfortable, supported, and confident that my daughter was in good hands. They genuinely care, showing her so much love and reassurance, and they always try to follow the routine we have at home, which means a lot to me. Since starting, I’ve seen such beautiful progress in her development, she has become more independent, learned to crawl, enjoys music, and today I even saw her clapping for the first time! Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is never easy, and no one will ever replace a mother’s love. But the educators here have truly done a wonderful job, and I am so grateful for the care and dedication they show every day.

My son started at Carnes Hill Montessori when he was 11 months old, he turns 5 this year. My daughter started at 5 months old, she is 2 this year. They have been nothing but amazing in every aspect, from day to day to special events. They do know how to make parents involved. We love this daycare and cannot recommend it enough !

We are so grateful for the incredible care, patience, and love shown by the team in the babies room. Sending my baby to childcare 2 days a week was one of the hardest emotional steps I’ve ever taken. Like many parents, I struggled deeply with the idea of being away from him. From the very beginning, the team made that transition so much easier. The warmth, reassurance, and genuine nurturing they provide truly mean so much. Seeing how my child has gradually settled in and become comfortable has been such a relief. It’s very clear he is surrounded by kind, attentive, and compassionate educators who genuinely care about his wellbeing. One thing I especially appreciate is how approachable and supportive everyone is. Being able to call at any time and receive a quick, reassuring update makes a huge difference and brings so much peace of mind. I feel very lucky to have found such a nurturing environment. The care, patience, and dedication of the team do not go unnoticed, and I’m incredibly thankful for the role they play in my child’s early years.

Carnes Hill Montessori has been such a wonderful place for my daughter’s growth and education. The staff are not only highly educated but also genuinely caring and supportive. They have created a nurturing environment where my daughter has thrived, both academically and personally. The Montessori approach here has really helped shape her independence, confidence, and love for learning. Every teacher we’ve met has been so lovely, approachable, and professional, and it’s clear how dedicated they are to each child’s development. We feel so grateful to have found this centre and couldn’t recommend Carnes Hill Montessori enough to other families looking for a safe, educational, and caring place for their children.

My daughter attended this daycare for five months, having transferred from another Montessori branch where we had an outstanding experience. Naturally, we expected a consistent standard of care, professionalism, and educational quality across the network. Unfortunately, this centre fell far short of those expectations. From the outset, the centre felt disorganized, with little structure or consistency in its operations. Communication from staff was minimal and superficial, and there was no effort to build a meaningful relationship with our daughter or our family. Most concerning was the complete lack of individualized care and attention. At her previous centre, our daughter thrived in a nurturing environment where her unique needs, interests, and emotions were recognised and supported. In contrast, here she was treated as just another child in the room, with no tailored support to help her feel safe or engaged. There was no attempt to ease her transition, no proactive updates on her adjustment, and no genuine effort to understand her as an individual. This had a clear and troubling impact. She began to dread daycare — drop-offs became increasingly distressing, and she came home emotionally withdrawn. She even described one educator as “always angry,” which was deeply upsetting to hear from a child who had previously loved her learning environment. The educators showed little empathy, warmth, or professional care. Her emotional and developmental needs were consistently overlooked. She was not seen, not heard, and not supported. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to watch her happiness and confidence decline. Montessori philosophy is built on recognising and nurturing the individuality of each child — yet our experience at this centre was the complete opposite. I sincerely hope this centre reflects on its practices and makes meaningful improvements, particularly in delivering the individualized, child-centred care that families rightfully expect from a Montessori environment. Since this experience, we have moved our daughter to another daycare (a competitor brand), where she is now thriving, happy, and supported in the way every child deserves.

My son started at Montessori when he was a year old into the babies room. He was so quick to settle in and as a family with other children who have attended other childcare’s over the years and whilst we were happy with other services we received, we feel that we wish we had of tried Montessori much earlier so our other children could also have the learning benefits. Some reasons why I love Montessori is - My son learns manners right from the very beginning of his day where he is encouraged to knock on the door before opening and is then greeted with a smiling friendly staff member who is there to assist you with a smooth transition to make drop offs much more happier for your child and parent. If there is any sadness they are quick to distract your child so they can settle quickly. - My son learns to clean up after play and helps to clean up after his made a mess or plays at home. - My son was encouraged to wash his own hands with soap and water after his nappy changes right from when he started which has carried through with his routine at home where he knows himself to wash his hands after toileting or when his hands and face are dirty and he will try to do it himself. - My son has experienced structured learning experiences which I feel has improved his cognitive and has made him such a smart bright little boy. - My son has been enabled to have fun with lots of free play and whilst he has had a couple of minor solo incidents due to his own explorative nature, they have been managed exceptionally well and we have been communicated with and been informed of the interventions to prevent the incident reoccurring. - The communication is so great that I don’t feel the need to ask a hundred questions on pick up. The room leader appears to be well organised, is an excellent communicator, she really listens and hears you and acts promptly and offers suggestions to help when needed about different battles with different growth stages. Most recently she and the team also helped me with strategies to help keep my sons socks on his feet all day as he wouldn’t keep them on. - Most of all, I feel completely confident with all the carers who care for my son, we feel the love for the children from the front door with the management team right through the centre from teachers in other rooms greeting and waving or high fiving my son when they see him right into his room where his friends and teachers are happy to see him and greet him. My son’s face lights up when he sees everyone who greets him, he blows kisses and waves. I feel the centre hires more mature aged staff members and this I think really makes a difference. I feel like it’s one great big family at Montessori. We thank all the beautiful team at Carnes Hill Montessori, for loving and caring for our son and for all his learnings that is helping him to grow. His approaching 2 years now and we’re looking forward to the rest of our Montessori journey!

My daughter started childcare 12 weeks ago in the infants room. Starting daycare is not only a huge adjustment for the child, but also for the parent. I have felt a sense of trust with the educators to care for my daughter and I have found the centre to be very responsive and reassuring to any of my questions/concerns. The educators always greet my little one with warmth and a big smile, I think this has helped her settle into the new environment. I appreciate all of the daily photo updates so that I can see all of the wonderful activities she is enjoying throughout the day. The team also put a lot of effort into hosting a Mother’s Day morning tea. It was a lovely morning with delicious food and the infants did a performance for the parents which they had practiced, which I thought was very sweet and special to watch.

Absolutely amazing Staff , 10/10 the care , love and curriculum implemented everyday is beyond amazing. Miss Rose is an amazing principal along with all the teachers. Miss Pretti , Miss demiana , Miss Loryn are the Absolute best. Highly recommend Montessori Carnes Hill.

The educators have taught my children so much! As a full time working mum it makes me feel so happy to see all the amazing things my kids have learnt! I’m a very proud centre manager, through all the amazing new things my children show me each day, it is evident that I have an amazing team of educators! My daughter has built a strong bond with Ms Therese and all the infant educators, they are all so loving and caring! My son has thrived so much in under a year thanks to Ms Pretti and Ms Natasa! So proud to be apart of the Carnes Hill team 💜
