Hi, 👋 my name is Maria, and I am an educator in family daycare, bringing 27 years of experience working with children. With a passion for nurturing children and supporting families, my aim is to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
My goal is to encourage children's social, emotional, language, and cognitive development through play-based learning and, meaningful interactions.
As a family daycare educator, I know the importance of building strong relationships with children and their families. I will provide educational experiences to support each child's interests, abilities, strengths, and cultural background and I am committed to maintain a nurturing, positive, safe environment both indoors and outdoors.
At “Little Explorers FDC,” we focus on sustainability and caring for the environment. Together with the children, we enjoy learning about nature through hands on experiences like growing our vegetables and herbs, taking care of our garden, and exploring the natural world around us.
Above all, I believe in Quality Care and making family daycare SAFE and FUN!
