About Guardian Childcare & Education Elderslie

Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Elderslie, where seven beautiful learning studios are grouped by age, including a dedicated sleep room attached to the nursery. Each space is filled with high-quality educational resources that inspire creative, collaborative, and play-based learning. We’re proud to offer what families call the best childcare in Elderslie!

Our To BE Me learning program helps you see your child’s learning adventure in a whole new light. Their pathway is personalised, with every milestone captured in a way that makes the link between play and learning clear and memorable.

The NSW Government offers funding to subsidise the cost of preschool in long day care. For 3-year-old’s this is between $423-$769 and for 4-year-olds between $1,783-$2,563. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

We understand how big those first steps into childcare are, and our Baby Ambassador and expert Nursery team is here to make the transition calm and reassuring for both you and your baby.

By focusing on Nutrition for Life, Guardian gives families peace of mind, knowing their children are developing habits that can set them up for a future of exposure to different foods, good eating patterns and healthy eating. Our qualified cook / chef provides 5 healthy foods every day from our in-house kitchen.

Safety and wellbeing are our highest priority, giving families peace of mind in the safe childcare we provide.

About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

To BE Me is Guardian’s exclusive learning program specifically designed for each age and stage of your child’s early years.

The program includes resources and tools that support learning and make it easy to see your child’s progress along Learning and Development Pathways.

It groups your child’s learning into seven areas to help you see this progress clearly. Each of these areas has behaviours or skills that are generally linked to each age and stage.

Children receive their own My Learning and Development Book, which is updated regularly with their progress.

To BE Me is underpinned by Guardian’s world class teaching program that has been developed over many years of research and thousands of hours observing how children develop.

Health and Nutrition

Health and Nutrition

We believe in nutrition for life, supporting children to develop healthy eating habits from an early age. Qualified Chefs and Cooks in our centres create fresh and nutritious meals each day, using seasonal, high-quality ingredients that align with Australian Dietary Guidelines.

Meals are designed to be delicious, introduce children to diverse flavours, and make eating healthy food a positive experience.

Managing allergies and intolerances is part of how we keep mealtimes safe and enjoyable. Every child’s needs are carefully tracked, meals are supervised by permanent educators, and allergens are strictly controlled.

Beyond providing wholesome food, we use mealtimes as learning opportunities. Children practice independence by serving themselves and engaging in conversations about food, building confidence and understanding of healthy choices.

I’m extremely happy with this childcare centre. The educators are warm, patient, and truly care about the children. The environment is clean, safe, and very well organised. Communication with parents is excellent, and the staff always go above and beyond to support the kids. Highly recommend this centre to any family looking for quality care and education!

Response from the owner 26 Nov 2025

Honestly the centre management and educators are amazing! My children are sooo taken care of and adore their teachers! I cannot express my gratitude as a mama of a child with extra needs also. They take so much individualised care for the children and have created a whole morning system around drop off for my son who needs the extra encouragement as he has attachment issues. I cannot recommend this school more. Having come from another centre that really broke my trust in the daycare system for quite a while, they have built it up with me. From the front desk staff to even the trainees, everyone not only communicates effectively and kindly to me but also each other.

Very disappointed I made an appointment for a tour which i thought went great . Over the phone I was told there were positions available, I expressed i wanted my son to start early August to which I was told that be fine. I spoke of how my son is on the spectrum and things id hopefully get some help with to which everything sounded great . After the tour where they did observe my son in their environment i was told to wait for a call . Receive the call and get told id get an email to pay the bond for his position. Then for 2 weeks im ignored, my emails and questions unanswered and when id reach out id get generic messages. To then receive a call saying oh no we don't have any spots available until next year . I felt after the tour my son and my sons need were discriminated against to be honest. The person doing the tour did seem a bit awkward around him but chose not to particularly read into that as he wasn't originally supposed to do the tour so thought maybe he was just having a mixed up day . Why say you have spots and go as far to confirm my 2 days and suggest you'd shortly send an email with details for me to pay my bond and get my son in asap . Why suggest you are okay with the communication needs of a child on the spectrum if you are going to not seem overall warm around them . So disappointing. I thought it would be a great place. I also missed another spot as I assumed id be in after been told of the bond. Wasted over 2 weeks of my time. Do not recommend at all
