My daughter goes to 3yo kinder program and enjoys herself very much. The safe and welcoming environment created by the educators has helped my daughter transitioned easily into her first year of kinder. She particularly enjoys the various open- and close-ended resources / learning stations prepared by the educators. New materials (indoor and outdoor) are introduced from time to time based on children's interests and developmental stages. I love the holistic educational approach to teaching where learning is child-led and educators nurture the interests and skills of the children through observing and responding to their needs and interests. Children also develop a sense of identity through exploring concepts such as personal bubbles, emotion regulations, body safety etc. They learn to collaborate and work together with others to create, build or make something together through the guidance of educators. Learning is fun too when they get to make pizzas, pumpkin soup and banana cakes in class and share the joy of eating together. Parents are especially welcome to assist in class, to share a skill or lead an activity in class. There are also opportunities for children to be engaged in the community through simple acts of service such as donating toys, hygiene products and books to help a cause. Children's learning is also enhanced through occasional incursions and celebrations such as Harmony Day, Mother's/Father's Day etc. Communication and correspondence with the educators and staff is easy as we can always approach them to have a chat whenever there is any questions or concerns. Parents also learn about children's learning and receive updates from kindergarten through the Storypark app. I am grateful for all the love and effort the team has put into creating such a wholesome learning experience for my daughter and all other children. Kelly and Kristina are two hard working ladies supporting my 3 year old at Box hill North Kindergarten. They have been very welcoming from get go which has made my daughter 's transition from day care to kinder very easy. My daughter 's development is on track because she gets exposure to diverse range of experiences. A huge thanks for making it so special for my daughter.

This is a great hidden kindergarten, it feels very safe knowing it’s tucked away in the school ground. They have access to the school park/playground and grounds. The resources are amazing and looks like so much fun. The educators are truly AMAZING, engaging, helpful and super frendly. Also having access to OSHC is also very helpful.

We made the right decision to send our son here for kindergarten. The wonderful, professional and supportive teaching environment has been absolutely fantastic and our son absolutely loves coming to kinder here. The level of commitment the staff at Box Hill North have to teaching and creating a safe and loving learning journey for our children is evident, and as parents we have felt fully informed and respected along the way.

I would highly recommend Box Hill North Kindergarten. Charlotte is one of the most organised, kind and super efficient directors you will ever meet. You will feel the warm and nurturing vibes as soon as you walk into the kinder space. The teachers are passionate, supportive, attentive, fun and the most caring educators I have ever come across. Our daughter is on the quieter, sensitive side and takes a long time to open up, but she feels comfortable and happy here. She is extremely lucky to have Sharon, Amanda and Charlotte for her kinder years and she is always excited to attend. The kinder space itself is safe and secure, which was an important factor for us. The outdoor space has a great playground, it’s spacious, neat and there’s lots for the kids to play. The kinder rooms are well planned out, they take the time to set up something different and fun every session! They do Japanese class once a week and my daughter has even taught me some of the language. We get a lot of posts on Storypark which we value and love to read. The last thing I will say is how much gratitude we have for Charlotte and Amanda this year for their attention to the child’s individual needs. They make time for us, provide reassurance, guidance and feedback. We all love it here.

We first toured Box Hill North Kindergarten at the recommendation of neighbors who had their children there and from my first meeting with the program director Charlotte, I was so impressed and knew the decision to enroll my daughter at Box Hill North Kinder was an easy one. We have had the most amazing teachers who have been so kind and nurturing to our daughter in 3 year old and 4 year old kinder. The staff do a wonderful job at constantly providing new learning environments and activities for the children to engage with each week. The benefits of being a part of the primary school have been lovely, we have regularly utilized the before school care facilities; and my daughter loves the Japanese lessons they have with Sense Martin, and the bonus of having mini excursions out of the kinder grounds to visit the primary school playgrounds like the “big kids”. We can not fault box hill north kinder and it has been such a positive and wonderful start to our daughter’s education journey.

After looking at every Kinder in the area, there was no comparison. We have been so happy with Box Hill North Kindergarten over the last 2 years that we've been attending with my eldest. Such a dynamic space where the children are constantly able to play, learn & create. Charlotte has been so incredibly accommodating, making sure that the team incorporate play & learning around each child's individual interests, strengths & development. Charlotte is always acknowledging feedback & taking suggestions on board. The 4yr old program with Charlotte & Amanda has been outstanding, our child has always felt nurtured, safe & valued at Kinder. We've loved the community that we have become a part of and will continue to be with our middle child starting there next year.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to send our daughter to BHNP kinder for 3 and 4 year old kinder! The staff here are absolutely amazing—so warm and caring. They genuinely love what they do, and it shows in the way they interact with the kids. Our daughter lights up every time we mention going to kinder, and we know it’s because of the wonderful people who are there to support her. The programs they run are fantastic. There’s always something fun happening.The balance of play and learning is perfect, and we love how they encourage creativity and exploration. We’ve also met so many great parents and have made lasting friendships that will follow us through primary school. Overall, we couldn’t ask for a better place for our daughter to grow and thrive.
