Exceptional Care and a Wonderful Environment! We decided to tour this childcare centre after it came highly recommended by a close friend, and we are so incredibly glad we did! From our very first step inside, the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with genuine smiles. As a parent, leaving your child can be daunting, but the orientation experience was fantastic. The team went above and beyond to make the transition smooth, unhurried, and comfortable for both our child and us. What really stands out is the dedication of the team. The educators are so supportive, attentive, and deeply invested in each child's well-being and development. You can truly tell they love what they do. The facilities themselves are beautiful. The centre boasts great indoor and outdoor areas that are spacious, clean, and filled with engaging, age-appropriate learning resources. Furthermore, during our initial tour, we were highly impressed to see a consistent, high-quality program running across all the rooms. It gave us total confidence that no matter which room our child graduates to, they will receive the same excellent standard of care and education. Our child started in infant room, and only took 2 weeks to settle, which is such a relief for us as parents. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing and professional childcare centre!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this childcare centre. The teachers have been incredibly supportive, patient, and understanding, especially with our emotional child who initially found it very hard to go to childcare. Their genuine care, kindness, and reassurance have helped him feel safe, secure, and more comfortable over time. Thanks to their nurturing approach, he continues to attend the same centre and has grown so much in confidence. We’re truly grateful for the dedication and compassion of the staff,especially Rosa and Amrik.The way Rosa was helping our son to build confidence and get acquainted with the new environment was exceptional.We highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a caring and supportive environment.

We've had 2 kids (now 2 and 3) attending this centre starting about 18 months ago and overall we have been very impressed. The facilities are very good, the resources are excellent, minimalist and designed to provoke thinking and learning. Above all the educators are very thoughtful, very intelligent and very well educated. This is not necessarily the first impression you will have because for most of them English is a second language. Both my children have had vocabulary explosions, my 3 year old daughter comes home explaining stuff to us like the life cycles of snails and butterflies and using big words like "amphibian and mammal" in the appropriate context! The centre communicates well and has regular events that are worth attending. You also get daily updates and the centre is extremely diligent in communicating any incidents with your child no matter how minor (scratches, etc. . .) Only complaints in my time would be a period in which there was a huge turnover of educators. 2 left and 2 had babies . . . which left one of my kids struggling with the constant change. That said this has not been in issue over the last 6 months. Thats, all thanks for taking great care of my kids :)

Choosing a kindergarten is always a daunting task. Perhaps we got lucky here with Box Hill Montessori Academy, an excellent fit for our daughters Independence and Academic Foundations. A big shout out to Mr. Amrik, Ms. Anjana and Ms. Hasandi. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr. Amrik and Ms. Anjana from day one. They created an environment where our daughter felt welcomed, safe, seen, excited to learn. Mr. Amrik has been been very kind, patient, good listener with our daughter. Ms. Anjana has been supportive and nurturing. We truly acknowledge and appreciate their efforts. Both are very observant and structured. They have helped our daughter settle in whenever she had separation anxiety. Now, we see a remarkable growth in her. She always comes home sharing new learning experiences, new friends, various activities. She seems more confident and we owe a huge part of that to Educator's warmth and dedication. Ms. Hasandi has equally been such an integral part of our daughters journey. She always has shown care and attention and been very proactive. All the educators are very much approachable, friendly and carry a very positive vibe. Our experience with Box Hill Montessori Academy has been ecstatic. It has got commendable prepared environment where our daughter is getting more independent, curious, respectful day by day. All the educators made us feel at ease from day one. They classrooms are clean, calm, beautifully organised and filled with high quality learning materials. We always feel informed about daily activities and our daughters well-being. Ms. Josephine runs the centre very efficiently. She has been very responsive and supportive when it comes to queries and concerns and we think it's the biggest strength of Box Hill Montessori Academy.

My daughter has been attending Montessori Academy since October last year. Since the time she started our family were welcome into the service with such warmth, I toured many centres and was so relived when we found Montessori Academy. The educators are so present and caring with the children, my daughter’s speech and self help skills have really improved since attending. The academy have been accomodating with my daughters speech pathologist and are attentive to how they can best meet my daughters needs. Special thanks in particular to Miss Roza, Miss Josephine and Miss Noel who have made my daughter’s first child care experience so positive. My daughter’s culture is also welcomed and respected as an aboriginal child.

Our 3 year daughter has been attending Box Hill Montessori since she was 5 months old. This is her second home and all of the Educators are her extended family. They offer far more than child care. The development of our daughter has been extraordinary and the educational progression at such a young age has set her up to confidently take on Kindergarten and then School. Thanks to the entire team for your nurturing, empathetic and caring guidance.

Both our kids attend Montessori Academy so we have experienced all 3 rooms (Infants, Toddlers and Kinder). The centre management as well as staffing was a little unstable when we first started 2.5 years ago. However, we were pleasantly surprised when Josephine joined as the centre manager because the overall experience has been consistently outstanding for a very long time now. Staffing has been very stable and all the educators are very accomplished professionals that show confidence, experience and a very high degree of commitment to the wellbeing of our children. The structure and learning that Montessori Academy provides has been superb and both kids look forward to going to childcare every day. We look forward to seeing our boys continue to grow with the support of Josephine, Ms Queenie, Ms Dee and the rest of the team. Thank you for all your work!

My son has been attending this long day care since January, and we absolutely love this centre. When we first toured the facility, we were impressed by how clean and well-equipped it was, with a wide variety of learning materials. The staff are very approachable, friendly, and always willing to help our family. My son has learned so much in his class, especially how to communicate with his friends and teachers. He has also been able to learn about the environment step by step in a way that suits his level. His teacher, Ms Queenie, is amazing. She always treats the children with warmth and positivity, provides quick feedback, and tailors her teaching to each child’s level. We really appreciate how she communicates with parents as well. My son looks forward to spending time with Ms Queenie every day, and seeing him so happy makes us feel very reassured as parents. Thank you for always taking such great care of our child to Ms Queennie, Anjana, Hasandi and all staff.

Our 7-month-old daughter is currently being cared for by Miss Yan, Bahare, and Dilrukshi, and we couldn’t be happier with the support they provide. Miss Josephine is always ready to welcome us at reception, no matter how busy she is, which makes every visit feel warm and reassuring. The team consistently keeps us informed about her sleep duration, how much she’s eaten, and her overall mood while at childcare. This level of communication gives us great peace of mind. One of the standout features of the centre is their hygiene practice, every adult is required to wear shoe covers before entering the rooms. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference and is something we haven’t seen at other places. We feel secure and grateful to have our baby looked after by the Box Hill Montessori team. 10/10.

The educators are absolutely amazing— so attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. They also work closely with us on our goals and objectives for our children.
