We are a current family at Guardian Box Hill North and it truly feels like a second home for our family. From the moment we joined, we've felt welcomed, supported and genuinely cared for by the wonderful management team and educators.<br>The staff build meaningful relationships with both the children and their families, creating a warm and inclusive community. The learning environments are engaging, nurturing and thoughtfully designed, allowing our children to grow, learn and thrive with confidence every day.<br><br>The quality of care and education is exceptional, and we are so grateful for the love, encouragement, and opportunities our children continue to receive. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Guardian Box Hill North to any family looking for a caring, supportive, and enriching early learning environment.

She has been incredibly supportive and professional, making the whole process so much easier.<br>Since Donika joined the centre, I have noticed such a positive change. Unfortunately, our experience at this centre was not what we hoped for, especially considering the expectations created when we first joined.<br>One of the main concerns we had was the lack of consistency. The majority of the team members, including management, we met during our 2024 tour were no longer at the centre by mid-2025. The amount of staff turnover made it difficult to feel a sense of stability and trust.<br>Communication was, sadly, one of the biggest issues. Emails were rarely responded, including important ones. I contacted the centre to inform them about my child’s surgery, and I did not receive a response (until I went and checked personally) or any follow-up afterwards to ask how he was doing. I was also not made aware that we were entitled to a reduction in fees for the days he was absent while recovering after the procedure, even when I asked if they needed a certificate. I only knew about this because the surgeon told me we had the right to receive a discount.<br>Phone communication was also very challenging. It was extremely difficult to reach the manager, and on several occasions my calls were not answered. At one point I was even told she could not speak because she had “no voice”. So unfortunate! One of the few times she was at the center at the time of my call, she was unable to speak.<br>There were also ongoing concerns regarding attention to details and my child’s individual experience. For a period of time, the artwork and activities my child completed at the centre were repeatedly misplaced or lost. This only improved after I raised my concerns. Also, the photo displayed at the door not matching the educator who was present on the day was also something I noticed and pointed out.<br>This centre was the most expensive childcare option we considered, yet it was the place where we felt the least supported and valued as a family.<br>I would like to acknowledge Maryam and Angie, who were always friendly, caring and willing to help. Their kindness was appreciated.<br>Since moving our child to a different centre, we have felt a complete change. We feel welcomed, supported and listened to. Most importantly, we feel that our child’s wellbeing truly matters.<br>I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

If Your a Single Parent and Trust this centre will be honest about the days your child attended They won’t. The system they use to check in your child turnes off and then they ask you to contact reception but they where on lunch break. Even with medical certificates they don’t approve them and blame management but it’s the staff at the centre also I had to threaten to move child cares for them to pay attention to nappy changes this didn’t happen once it was on going even when He changed to underpants and I’m talking about number 2s please don’t put your children in the hands of there staff

I highly recommend that any parent in the area looking at child care consider sending their child/children to Guardian Box Hill North, my child has been attending this Centre for several months now and I cannot speak highly enough of the warm, welcoming, educationally enriching and caring environment that this centre fosters for all of the children who attend. The Centre Manager, Natalie, is absolutely brilliant, she is always attentive, caring and kind - Guardian are very lucky to retain someone of her calibre. The room educators are always focused on providing each child with a sense of belonging and safety, they engage with the children and offer many diverse educational experiences.

Our little one has been with Guardian Box Hill North since she was eight months old and is now in the toddler room. The staff are fantastic and a very adaptive to your child’s needs and management a very present and available. Highly recommended!

My child has now transferred to another center, and since this was our very first childcare experience, there were many things we did not fully understand at the time. Only after moving have we gradually come to realize and understand those issues. While my child was attending this center, our two-year-old fell from a balance beam and suffered a severe bruise near the eye, similar to what another reviewer has described. The educator told us it was nothing serious, that our child was fine, did not even cry, and was “brave.” However, something about this explanation did not sit right with me. How does a two-year-old fall from a balance beam and end up with such a serious bruise? If the child was on the balance beam, was there not adequate supervision nearby? Hearing that my child did not cry and endured it made my heart ache even more. In addition, during morning drop-offs, there were educators who created a rather forceful and intimidating atmosphere, which I found quite uncomfortable. It often felt as though not only my child, but many of the children, seemed withdrawn and intimidated. This is my personal impression, and I ask readers to take it as such. Whenever I went to pick my child up, I often saw them sitting blankly or quietly without speaking. Despite this, we were consistently told only that the day was “fine,” without any meaningful or detailed feedback. The room leader did not appear to be fulfilling their role effectively, and educators seemed to change almost every month. It was never clear who we could raise concerns with, as there were often unfamiliar and seemingly inexperienced staff members present. What ultimately upset me the most is that my child now flinches, cowers, and tries to hide when a hand comes close. There is no direct evidence that this behavior came from this center, but the moment I witnessed it, I felt overwhelming anger and sadness. That was the point at which I felt compelled to write this review, despite the emotional difficulty. After transferring to another center, all of these issues became much clearer in hindsight. While some of these points are my personal opinions, I am sharing my experience so that other parents can make a more informed and thoughtful decision.

We cannot speak highly enough of Guardian Early Learning Centre in Box Hill North. Our bubba who’s now 15 months old, has been attending for several months, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. From the very first tour, we were struck by the warmth of the educators and the vibrant, stimulating environment. What truly sets Guardian Box Hill North apart is their incredible team. The educators are not just caregivers; they are genuinely invested in each child's development and happiness. They know bubs’ unique personality, interests, and routines intimately. We receive detailed daily updates via the Storypark app, which gives us such peace of mind. The curriculum is fantastic. It's more than just play; it's purposeful and tailored. We've watched in amazement as our child's confidence, curiosity, and skills have blossomed—from messy sensory play and music sessions to developing early social skills in the beautiful outdoor spaces. The centre management is also excellent—very professional, communicative, and always open to feedback. They foster a real sense of community. We are so grateful to have found this extended family for our most precious little one. Highest recommendation!

Guardian Box Hill North has been wonderful for my son. Caring educators, great communication, and a warm, engaging environment. He’s always happy to go, and we’re very grateful for the team’s support.
