Our family started with Absorbent Minds when they first opened in 2022, and our youngest has just finished his journey there in 2026. There are not enough words to describe how amazing this centre is. Every single staff member—administration, educators, chefs, cleaning, and maintenance staff—are incredible. For our family, it was important that our children received the very best start to their educational journey, and Absorbent Minds delivered that and so much more. Beyond education, it was important to know that our children were happy, safe, and genuinely cared for. It was such a blessing to know they were so deeply loved and that our family was always supported throughout our time there. Absorbent Minds is a place where children truly grow and flourish. We cannot speak more highly of this centre and the dedicated professionals who make it such a special place. We will always be grateful for the positive impact they have had on our children's lives.

We had an outstanding experience at Absorbent Minds. Our daughter attended from 1 year old all the way through to kinder. All of the educators were warm, genuinely caring and supportive of Montessori principles. We highly recommend this centre to new families. I find it hard to put into words just how incredible this centre is. AM became more than just a child care service to our child, it became a second home and her educators were her extended family. We loved every second of our time here and I would not ever hesitate to enrol a child here. We'll miss you all!

Absorbent Minds has been absolutely wonderful for our family. Our eldest started when he was around one and our youngest joined at six months old, so we have experienced all of the communities at the centre. Over the past few years, the team has genuinely cared for and guided our boys, supporting them to grow into the independent, confident and curious children they are today. Our eldest began Prep this year, and the way the educators at Absorbent Minds focus on practical life skills and real-world learning meant he was incredibly well prepared for the transition to school. Having experienced two other childcare centres before coming to Absorbent Minds, there is simply no comparison. We are so grateful for the dedication, care and support the team has shown our family and cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for our boys.

I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am to Absorbent Minds. After a very difficult experience at a previous childcare centre, we arrived at Absorbent Minds feeling worried and unsure. My son was almost two and a half and still not speaking, and what we had lived before had been truly hard. From the first day, everything felt different here. And within a week, my child started using his words. I didn’t know much about the Montessori method at the time, but I immediately loved the environment, the facilities, and especially the teachers. It never felt like a “commercial” childcare centre. Knowing it is run by its owners, Anita and Natalie, made a big difference. They were always kind, welcoming, and very clear in their communication. Today, my son is ready to start prep, and I know he has very strong foundations thanks to everything he learned at Absorbent Minds. This place was not only my child’s childcare centre, it was a place that welcomed our whole family. The children are genuinely happy, playing freely with their friends and educators, sometimes so happy they forget you are even there to say goodbye. Leaving is a little bittersweet. I 100% recommend Absorbent Minds to any family looking for a caring, warm, and supportive place for their child. 💛💛💛

We've had both our children attend this childcare centre—our eldest before starting school and now our baby—and we couldn't be happier. The management is hands-on and clearly in touch with the day-to-day needs of families, and communication has always been clear, timely, and thoughtful. The educators and staff are not only well-trained but genuinely caring, creating a warm and supportive environment for the kids. We’ve always felt confident leaving our children in their care, and we’re truly grateful to have found a place we can trust.

My son has attended Absorbent Minds Montessori (AMM) for almost 2 years and I am thrilled in every aspect of the centre. The needs of the children are prioritised above all else and this gives me such great peace of mind. As a father I have the utmost confidence with the care and education provided for my son. The classrooms and environment are extraordinary, along with the exceptional educators and support staff. The rapport my son has with all of the centre staff is heartwarming and a real testament to the relationship building skills of the educators. The weekly food menu has great variety, is healthy and is cooked fresh onsite. My son often has double and triple servings!!! I wouldn’t change a thing about the centre and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a great start to their child’s education.

Couldn't be happier with our choice to send our son to Absorbent Minds! The school follows all Montessori practices allowing the children to learn practical skills for life. The education rooms and playscape are beautifully designed and always tidy and organised. It truly is a gorgeous place for children to play and learn throughout the day. The staff are the heart of AM, they're always kind, smiling and enjoying their interactions with the children. They have made our transition smooth and comfortable while providing the confidence in allowing our son to stay in their care for a lengthy period. We have noticed multiple positive changes with our son since he started attending. He looks forward to his school days each week with ease and anticipation and lacks any fear, showing only enjoyment upon arrival. We can see how much our son enjoys his time here with how much he is learning and absorbing each day, even willing to try new healthy delicious foods from the stunning cafe attached. We honestly cannot even put into words how amazing his two teachers are, Isabel and Kalani. He has formed a great bond with both as the genuine care that these two put into working with our son has been the most rewarding part of all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our boy feel so welcome, included and appreciated in the Elkhorn Community. AM also uses the Stoprypark app which gives updates of your childs progress, special moments, etc. A great aspect that is not overused. You are able to see important updates about your child and even converse with teachers over any challenges you may have or ask questions. Owners/Directors and sisters, Natalie and Anita are beyond kind. They are full of guidance and support for not only the child but the entire family. The were considerate and supportive during the early stages and have been nothing but informative and understanding since day one. Dynamic Duo! We would absolutely recommend Absorbent Minds to all families with littlies. The food and cafe staff are also amazing...Its a must try! Thanks Alex & Troy!
