Our Government-Funded Kindy program is a special year of growing, learning and getting ready for big school adventures. Led by our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, who has been part of our AppleBerries family for 14 years, children are supported through meaningful play, intentional learning and strong relationships.

We work closely with our local schools and community to help make the transition to school a positive, confident and exciting experience for every child.

Meet Madison - Our Centre Manager

Welcome to AppleBerries Kallangur! I’m Madison, and I’m so excited to be part of the AppleBerries community as your Centre Manager.

With 15 years of experience in the early childhood sector, including 9 years in Centre Manager roles, I am deeply passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, while mentoring and supporting educators to be the very best they can be. I am also currently studying my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care and Primary Education, continuing to grow my knowledge and practice within our wonderful sector.

As a mum of three, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident that their children are safe, supported, valued and genuinely cared for. I strongly value the knowledge and insights families bring as their child’s first and most important teachers, and I believe that working together creates the strongest outcomes for children.

I look forward to getting to know your children, families and wider community and creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels a sense of belonging and is encouraged to grow, learn and flourish.

At AppleBerries Early Education Service Kallangur, our programming is tailored to the individual needs of each child, setting the stage for lifelong learning. Our service offers a revitalised approach to early childhood education and development, equipping children with the tools and confidence needed for their next learning stages. The diversity in physical, emotional, and cognitive learning ensures your child thrives and evolves through each developmental milestone.

Nurturing Nursery

Our nurturing nursery provides a safe and loving environment for infants from six weeks of age. Recognising that early interactions are crucial, our dedicated educators offer sensitivity, warmth, and constant supervision. Every interaction is designed to foster a sense of security and belonging, ensuring your little ones feel cherished and cared for as they begin their journey of discovery and growth. Our nurturing approach lays the foundation for meaningful development and prepares infants for the stages ahead.

Tiny Toddlers

We understand that toddlers are movers and groovers, and we nurture their natural curiosity through sensory enrichment and play-based learning in our exceptional indoor and outdoor spaces. Our caring and qualified educators provide a stimulating environment that encourages exploration and discovery, helping children achieve their early education and developmental milestones with confidence and joy.

Kindergarten Kids

As an approved Kindergarten provider, we offer eligible families up to 15 hours of FREE kindergarten per week for 40 weeks a year! Kindergarten is a crucial stage, building children's confidence and preparing them for their schooling years. Our Queensland Government-approved program is led by skilled educators who create developmentally appropriate learning environments, promoting emotional, mental, and physical growth. Kindergarten is essential for school readiness.

Outdoor Enrichment

Our service is safely located off the main road and on one acre of natural wonder that our pet ducks and children love to explore. Our backyard is big and beautiful, and it allows our educators and early childhood teachers to provide meaningful and immersive outdoor learning experiences to all age groups.

Our bush kindy program fosters children's understanding of the world and nature around them by offering them opportunities to get messy, explore, investigate, problem-solve and exercise resilience.
