The Highfields and District Kindergarten is a wonderful place for your child for their Kindy year. Don’t hesitate to enroll them. They will have the most wonderful year of play and making memories.
Children are at the heart of all we do at Highfields & District Kindergarten. Each child has the opportunity to learn and grow in a playful, enjoyable, energetic and engaging environment geared to their individual needs. We offer a play based start to your child's education; where a life-long love of learning is created and social & emotional development is vital. Our Kindergarten program is available to children in the year before they begin Prep. We are a not for profit, community Kindergarten with a strong 31 year history. Managed by the community, for the community, any profit is reinvested into our well-established and resourced centre, with beautiful indoor facilities and spacious natural outdoor environment.
We offer a 5 day fortnight Kindergarten Program, with 4 Kindy Groups operating each week.
We enrol 22 children into each Kindy Group for the year, so your child will have consistency of classmates each day they attend. Each Kindy Group is delivered by a University trained Early Childhood Teacher in conjunction with a Teaching Assistant. These staff spend the entire day with your child, enabling rich mutual relationships to develop.
