My daughter loved to attend Miss Josie's center. She always looked forward to her day and loved the regular excursions. Josie was welcoming, friendly, flexible and nurtured our daughter. After we left the Miss Josie's for "big kid school" we visited Josie for a cuddle as our daughter missed her so much. We will be returning for vacation care rather than send our daughter to school based care. If you want an educator with 30 years experience who also has a safe, fun and professional child care setting, then Josie will be perfect for your family.

Could not rate Josie high enough. She is flexible, great with our son, who also loves her and provides clear bounmdaries for the kids whilst making fun! She encourages reading and development of fine motor skills and is a genuine lovely person.

We have had our daughter Tahlia with Josie for over 3 1/2 yrs. Josie provides a educational program, and our daughter learnt so much, Josie has helped prepared her for school next year. I established Josie's Family Day Care business in 1989, based in Mt Warren Park, and I'm registered with Kids at Home Family Day Care. I offer flexible care hours, early starts, and 5pm finishes, for children from 15months of age, through to 12 years. Before and after school care, vacation care, as well as Long day care. Child Care Subsidy is avavialble to families who meet the criteria. I follow the National Early Years Learning Framework, an Educational and developmental program, where you the parent have an input, I follow children's interests & focus on their strengths and interests. Kids at Home Mentors visit on a regular basis. I have all the necessary and relevant licenses/certificates, Diploma of Childrens Services, Blue Card, First Aid, references from past families & other certificates to run a successful Family Day Care Service. I presently escort school children to and from Windaroo State School, I offer a pre-prep program, assisiting children to be school ready. Daily photos of your child/ren are taken and sent to you the parent. Children particiapate in wide variety of fun and educational experinces, Water/Sand play, Art, playdough, science experiments, baking, construction & building , Outdoor play, etc. You are more than welcome to make an appointment to visit my service.
