I am very disappointed with this childcare centre. Although the centre promotes itself as a place where children can “learn more,” my experience has been the opposite in terms of care and emotional support. The educators often come across as cold and disengaged. There is a noticeable lack of warmth, patience, and genuine care towards the children. At this age, emotional support and a nurturing environment are just as important as academic learning, and unfortunately, this is missing here. In addition, the hygiene standards are concerning. Within one month, there were two cases of Gastroenteritis, which raises serious questions about cleanliness and infection control. Cleaning practices also appear unprofessional, with visibly dirty equipment such as mops. Overall, I do not feel confident leaving my child in this environment. I strongly recommend the centre review both their staff training and hygiene management.

My son really enjoys being at Little Lane. The educators are so kind, warm, and caring—they always keep us updated on how our little one’s day went and discuss ways to support their learning. The bilingual environment is very welcoming for Chinese-speaking kids. It helps kids adapt to a new environment and helps them feel confident expressing their needs.

My child has received an excellent education at this kindergarten. I am extremely satisfied with both the teaching environment and the faculty, as well as the teachers' patient and caring attitude.

Little Lane Box Hill is an amazing childcare centre with modern day facilities. They offer a wide range of activities not only classroom but also excursions to Elderly home and the Box Hill Gardens as well as extracurricular activities such as public speaking, art, ballet, sports, piano and music lessons. Additional language skills are also developed by a wonderful Chinese class program. Food smells fantastic from the wonderful kitchen on ground level with a nutritious menu each day for the children. Centre manager is very friendly, informative, professional and always greets you with a welcoming smile. The staff are wonderful and very organised and the teachers are kind, patient and cater to the children’s needs.

We made the right choice to send our child to Little Lane Early Learning Box Hill. From the moment we walk through the doors, we are greeted with the most wonderful aroma of freshly prepared meals -- it instantly makes the centre feel warm, familiar and welcoming. The food is thoughtfully catered to suit children's tastes, and its clear that a lot of care goes into planning healthy, delicious meals that the kids genuinely enjoy. My son eats better and more at the childcare than at home! What truly set this centre apart is the constant stream of fun-filled, purposeful activities and events happening all year round, with nurturing educators present to support our son's learning development. Its such a comfort knowing that our child is in a safe, stimulating environment where they are encouraged to learn, grow and thrive every single day. Highly recommend to any family looking for a caring, vibrant and high quality early learning centre.

The educators are kind, professional and always make the children feel secure and valued. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into creating a positive learning environment.
