My son started at this centre when he was just 10 months old, and he is turning 4 this year. We plan to keep him here until he starts primary school, so I wanted to wait until we had several years of experience before writing a review. Choosing a daycare is one of the most important decisions parents make. It becomes a place where your child spends a significant part of their early years, so trust, communication and consistency matter enormously. Over the years, our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. One thing I particularly appreciate is the stability of the centre. The senior leadership team has remained consistent throughout our time here, which has helped build strong relationships with families and creates a reassuring sense of continuity. The centre is clean, well maintained and promotes good hygiene habits among the children. They are also diligent when it comes to managing illness and incidents. While no parent likes receiving a call that their child is unwell or has had a minor accident, I find their approach reassuring because it demonstrates that the wellbeing and safety of the children are taken seriously. No centre is perfect, but what stands out is how approachable and responsive the team is. Whenever I have had concerns or feedback, I have felt comfortable raising them, and they have always been open to listening and communicating openly. More importantly, feedback is often taken seriously and acted upon promptly. The centre also goes above and beyond by organising events outside normal operating hours, such as family picnics and date nights. These initiatives not only support parents but also help foster a genuine sense of community among families and educators. Most importantly, my son is happy here. He has been nurtured, supported and cared for throughout some of the most important years of his development. As parents, there is great comfort in knowing your child is in an environment where they feel safe, valued and encouraged to learn and grow. Thank you to the entire team for the care, professionalism and dedication you have shown our family over the years. We are grateful to have found a centre that has played such an important role in our son's early childhood journey.

My son has been at Oak Tree Sunnybank since 2023. I had him at another centre before we moved to the area and he was enrolled here. He has made some amazing friends and learnt new skills and information from both the educators and specialist teachers over the years. When I have had any concerns and raised them with centre staff, I have felt heard and understood. If the matter relates to behaviours or needs I have seen that steps are taken to attend to the matter. The meals provided always smell and look amazing, and with the centre’s technology I can see how much, what and when my son has eaten. Staff are fantastic and so caring with the kids. My son often tells me how much he loves his educators. Great multicultural centre, worth every cent spent.

We are very grateful for the care, patience, and support provided by Oak Tree team. The teachers are kind, attentive, and always create a warm and safe environment for the children. It is wonderful to see how much my child has learned and grown in confidence, social skills, and happiness since attending the center.

The educators here are honestly superheroes in disguise - patient, caring, fun, and somehow able to handle toddler chaos with a smile every single day. The team here is warm, patient, fun and genuinely caring. You can really feel how much love they give the children every single day. The centre is always clean, welcoming and full of happy energy. An amazing childcare centre with truly caring teachers and a wonderful management team. My child has developed so much here — not only in early learning, but also in social skills, manners, confidence, and interacting with others. The educators are patient, loving, and supportive, and it really shows in the children. We feel very lucky to be part of this centre. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has been going to Oak Tree Academy Sunnybank for two years now, and I can honestly say this place is amazing from the inside out. When I say 'everything is great,' I truly mean every single detail. From the outside, the communication from management is always spot-on, the center is incredibly clean and secure, and the daily updates keep us completely in the loop. But what’s on the inside is what makes it special—the educators. They don't just 'babysit'; they genuinely love the kids. Over the past two years, we’ve seen our daughter transform from a shy toddler into a confident, happy girl who loves learning and looks forward to drop-offs every morning. As parents, that peace of mind is priceless. If you are looking for a center in Sunnybank that feels like a second home and actually helps your child thrive, this is absolutely the place.

My child has been attending for 3 weeks now and seems to be getting better with each drop off. Generally is in a neutral mood when we drop off and usually very happy to see me at pick up. Although it’s only been 3 weeks, my child is developing new skills and able to communicate a lot better with us at home. Staff turnover seems to be low and makes me feel like it must be a great place to work. I think a lot of the staff have been there since inception. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming and friendly and my child’s educators seem like they actually like caring for kids. I think that's all you can really hope for as a parent. It’s also good because we speak a 2nd language at home, and the educators can accommodate and speak Mandarin to my child as well. The educators all seem to be multilingual. Daily updates through the app including feeds, naps, diaper changes and daily photo updates which we have been enjoying. No incidents or other concerns yet aside from the illness, but we expected it as our parent friends all warn us it’s one of the things with kids at daycare. They were very caring and checked in on our child a few days after to see if we had recovered. Entry is locked with your personal code and there’s undercover parking. I avoid the school rush so there’s never been difficulty finding parks, but I can imagine it would be a bit hard to get in and out during peak hours. We joined this daycare because a few of our friends send their kids here too and it comes highly rated for the curriculum and learning. Although my child is still young, it’s good to know they can make friends and move through the classes together. The classroom is generally clean and it’s very spacious too. It seems to be Montessori style toys and there’s also some activities the educators host. We drop off a bit later in the day so sometimes miss the morning activities, but my child has been there for sensory play, and they made a handprint apron for me for Mother’s Day which was a lovely surprise Opening hours don’t affect me as we use their centre within their opening hours 6:30am-6:30pm, but on public holidays they are closed. This is something we keep in mind when picking what days to send our child. I think the price is fair as the other day cares are all similar priced. I would still give it 5 stars overall since there is room for improvement but it’s already very good. If we had more kids I would continue sending them here.
