We couldn’t recommend this centre highly enough, especially Centre 2, where our little one has had the most amazing experience. Having tried a few other daycares in the past, nothing compares to this one. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely caring toward the children. The variety of play experiences, activities, and unique incursions is phenomenal—far beyond anything we’ve seen elsewhere. Most importantly, our child has never been happier. The director is also exceptionally welcoming and approachable, which has been a refreshing change from our past experiences. We travel just to be part of this wonderful community, and it’s worth every minute. Highly recommend!

My daughter attends JSELC bush kindy and loves going out into the large yard to find all kind of things. We receive daily up dates and also personalise ones regarding their progress in certain areas. My daughter is excited to go on her days and loves telling me what she has done for the day when I pick her up.
Johanna Street Early Learning Centre is a privately owned long day care centre, licensed under the Act to provide care for children aged 3 months to 6 years. The centre is child care subsidy approved and offers a natural way for children to learn in a beautiful bush setting.
Centrally located in the heart of Jimboomba; peacefully rural, situated on 28 acres with ducks and chickens. Hares, cockatoos & kookaburras are regularly within the grounds and kangaroos are occasional visitors.�
The Centres are surrounded by gardens and within the grounds there are ponds and dams which encourage birdlife including wild ducks, pelicans, ibis, herons, cormorants, moorhens and on occasions, pelicans. Rescued turtles have been released into the dams by local wildlife carers.
The service has two child care centres, with aesthetically unique, interesting and physically challenging equipment. Visiting each others playgrounds encourages the children to make new friendships and also allows them to experience different play environments.
The large grounds are utilised for our Bush Kindy program including outdoor cooking experiences, picnics, outdoor exploration, education and play. A dry creek bed comes alive when water from a damn is pumped into it for water/mud play. The creative zone facilitates outdoor cooking, construction with and without tools, imaginative play, climbing trees and playground equipment. The beautiful garden room combines a large covered area with catering facilities and shadded seating amongst thick natural foliage. A vegie garden, small sports field and an adventure playground are also featured.
