The program at Amaze helps the children develop their understanding of themselves and the world around them while laying the foundations for success at school. The children develop their sense of self, cultural awareness, respect for the environment and other skills and abilities that will serve them well throughout their life.

Each child is unique, and their development varies at different stages. Amaze offers tailored programs for age groups, from six weeks to 6 years old, to ensure that each child’s needs are met appropriately. 

The educators build on the children’s knowledge and experience and cater to each child’s needs and interests. The play-based programs provide opportunities for free play, spontaneous learning and structured, educator-led activities. The children participate in Bush Kindy and other extracurricular activities that enhance their learning and early childhood experience.

Our age-appropriate and fun activities encourage socialisation and the development of physical and cognitive skills. Moreover, we regularly update these activities to keep the little ones entertained.

The Amaze curriculum features two distinct programs, both aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. The early years program for children aged 0-3 years educates the whole child and responds to their needs across their social, emotional and intellectual skills. Recognising each child as unique, the educators set appropriate goals to support their individual learning and development. 

In the early years, children learn problem-solving and lateral thinking. They build their communication skills, curiosity and self-confidence. They also develop important language skills and gain an understanding of basic mathematical concepts.

The kindergarten program builds on what the children learn in the early years and helps to set them up for success when they transition to primary school. With qualified teachers at the helm, the children participate in a range of indoor and outdoor activities, with opportunities for both free and structured play. The educators also help the children to develop their gross and fine motor skills.

In our Bush Kindy program, your child will have the chance to explore their natural surroundings, using their bodies to balance on logs, climb trees, and navigate uneven terrain. Through these challenges, they will develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and build confidence, independence, resilience and self-esteem, the most important indicators for school readiness.
