Kinder Cottage is a privately owned and operated Early Education Centre that has been operating for 24 years. We pride ourselves on our long term staff and their level of qualifications. Most staff, including our Assistant Educators, have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Our staff are also regularly doing professional development to improve their knowledge which means that they can support the children and their families at our Centre even more effectively.
At Kinder Cottage we try to make it as easy possible for our families to drop off by providing an inviting environment and by alleviating the need to bring various things in with them such as meals and consumables. We do this by providing three meals a day, nappies, and other consumables such as wipes, tissues and sunscreen.
We also have been running a Queensland Education approved Kindergarten program since 2011 which is run by a Bachelor trained teacher which has had great success in preparing children for Prep. To assist our normal curriculum we also run a Spanish program which is included in our fee's. This Spanish program is a brilliant way for children to get a taste of learning a new language and also, just learning how to learn - a great preparation for life. In addition to our normal curriculum we also provide extra curricular activities, for an additional fee, and these are dancing, yoga and 'multisports for kids'. We do however provide various incursions throughout the year which are free of charge.
