I have only had two years of experience with this centre, so I can only speak from my own observations and experience.
From what I have seen, the children are genuinely happy, settled and engaged throughout the day. They participate in both structured educational programs and free play. I have visited the centre at different times of the day and noticed that educators are positioned in different areas to maintain effective supervision, while also conducting small-group activities to support individual children’s learning and development. Even the casual staff are familiar faces, and they know and correctly call the children by their names.

I especially love the outdoor environment. It is such a blessing, and increasingly rare, to have such a beautiful natural outdoor space, particularly as more childcare centres are located in high-rise buildings. The children clearly love exploring and playing in the bushy outdoor environment.

Another thing I really appreciate is the fresh food and freshly cooked, warm meals provided every day. Some commercial centres may choose convenience and lower-cost options, such as offering crackers or packaged food, but that is not the case at Castle Glen. The educators make a genuine effort to encourage children to eat fresh food, and they are happy to provide it. In fact, my child eats more fresh vegetables at this centre than at home!

The education team is dedicated to enriching the children’s early years and creating meaningful experiences for them. The centre manager is also very good at building connections with families and the wider community. Throughout the year, the centre organises many meaningful activities and celebrations, including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, end-of-year graduation celebrations, and events that celebrate diversity.

All in all, I am very grateful to have found a place at this centre. Thank you to the educators and management team for all your hard work and dedication. Keep up the good work!
