Our daughter has been going to this centre for almost a year now, and it genuinely feels like a real community. From the induction through to the trial days, the experience has been smooth and positive and most importantly, our little one absolutely loves it. She’s built great connections with several educators, and it really shows at drop-off and pick-up when she’s all smiles. We really appreciate the collaborative approach between educators and parents. Every few months we set new goals together, which helps guide her learning and development. The centre’s app is also fantastic it’s so nice being able to check in on her day and see photos of what she’s been up to. Recently our daughter needed glasses, and the educators couldn’t have been more supportive. They even ran a little session to help explain it to the other kids, which meant a lot to us! The entire staff contributes to creating a warm, welcoming community atmosphere that makes both children and parents feel valued. The daily program is excellent - our son comes home excited to tell us about the various incursions, activities, and adventures he's had throughout the day. It's wonderful to see him so engaged and enthusiastic about learning. The variety of experiences offered keeps him stimulated and curious. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, which gives us tremendous peace of mind knowing our son is in a safe and hygienic environment. After moving to Essendon and visiting many childcare centres in the area, I happened to tour Nido Early Learning and met Pete. After a quick visit, I returned with my wife, and we immediately decided to enrol our son. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made—our son loves going every morning. The educators and admin staff are genuinely caring, and the centre offers a wonderful variety of programs such as community walks and Monday morning sports sessions. We especially appreciate the daily and weekly updates with photos, which help us stay connected with our son’s learning and activities. He has never complained about attending and often asks us to pick him up late so he can spend more time there, which shows how welcoming and supportive the environment is. The centre also has a great kindergarten program, and our son enjoys the hot meals prepared by the chef. A thoughtful bonus is the breakfast-on-the-go for parents—I particularly love the wraps and never miss them! I highly recommend Nido Early Learning to any parents looking for a childcare centre that provides a caring, engaging, and memorable experience for their child.

The morning parents’ brekky from the chef is such a nice touch, honestly the cherry on top before heading to work. The app is awesome — you get daily updates on everything, from nappy changes to cute photos of what the kids have been up to. It’s so nice feeling in the loop all day. The place is always clean, and I love that they use sustainable, reusable materials. It’s such a great way to get the kids thinking about looking after the planet from early on.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Nido Essendon. From the moment we first visited, we were impressed by the excellent facilities – everything is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed to support learning, play, and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment. The staff and educators are truly outstanding. They are not only highly professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly warm, caring, and attentive to each child's individual needs. My little boy has been going here for over 1.5 years now and we have had a wonderful experience. The educators are all so warm and welcoming as well as consistent. They have different activities on for the children daily whether it be sports clinic, musical minds or excursion (walking around the block). Every morning the centre is clean, and smells lovely. The menu is rotating and nutritious and the daily breakfast they have for the parents on the run is so very much appreciated some mornings! Also, small classroom numbers which is great for winter as my child isn't sick all the time. Can't fault the centre!

Above and beyond the most nurturing and wonderful daycare centre we have come across. I rarely write Google reviews but want to commend Nido Essendon on their high level of care. We have sent our 3 children to various other daycares over the past 8 years and struggled to find good quality, safe and reliable care. Have been disappointed with some other local providers. We sent our youngest here when he was 8 months old in 2024 and could not have asked for better care. Admittedly sceptical at first, but we have been overwhelmed with how friendly and attentive all staff have been. Management and staff were refreshed just before we commenced at the centre, and it runs so smoothly and faultlessly. (Encourage anyone to take a tour and not rule Nido out based on reviews!) Reception staff are always at the front desk, greeting myself and older 2 children by name (they don’t even attend the centre). All the girls in the nursery room take a vested interest in the development of my child with a nurturing attitude. So kind and caring, and nothing is too much trouble. We’ve never had a challenging drop off, and all other children (and staff) are always happy and settled. Often I will receive photo updates of my child settling for the day on my way home from drop off! So glad we sent our youngest here! Only wish we had this level of care when our 8 and 5 year olds were the same age 🥰
