Combining a warm, welcoming ambience with innovative purpose-built learning environments, children have a diverse range of experiences and learning resources to occupy their days, both indoors and out at our Gregory Hills Childcare. Our indoor learning environment boasts a rich variety of resources encouraging children to discover, explore and interact with their peers and professional educators, as well as quiet spaces for rest and reflection. Outdoors, the vibrant environment includes extensive play-based learning equipment to foster child led discovery. With a team of passionate Educators our play-based Evolution and Transition to School programs promote holistic development. It includes experiences that facilitate learning in areas such as literacy, numeracy, STEM, physical and emotional health and wellbeing, life skills, and creativity. Through our unique programs, your child will thrive and develop a life-long love for learning. We offer diverse enriching activities, from arts and crafts to music and outdoor play, to stimulate your child's imagination and creativity.
Five nutritious meals are included each day and prepared on-site by our in-house cooks, and all nappies and wipes are included. Cot linen provided (excludes stretcher bed linen).

We’ve developed our unique Nutrition Program in collaboration with a qualified nutritionist. This program is designed to help children understand the importance of healthy eating, hygiene, and physical activity. We encourage children to actively participate in meal preparation and serving, fostering a hands-on approach to learning about nutrition.
Our carefully crafted seasonal menu, which rotates every four weeks, is designed to meet 50% of your child’s daily nutritional requirements. It includes a variety of nourishing foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats, fish, chicken, dairy products, and more, ensuring children receive a balanced diet that supports their growth and development.

There were a few lovely educators but unfortunately it stops there. High staff turnover, somedays i knew nobody on drop off or pick up. My child started around 8months old, multiple nappy rashes, some with blisters and yes I have the evidence to back it. The communication between educators and parents was appalling, the constant sickness as kids with green snotty noses were allowed to attend, where as I was told I shouldn't be writing on the app if my child has chickenpox as it worries the educators (assumed because my child was in 2 rooms, 1 being children not completely vaccinated that this would be important information.) Collecting my child with high temps and no phone calls (even ended up on oxygen in hsp with rsv one time) My child would cry and scream everyday at drop off, however it took 3 days to be happy and content at his new school. Raised issues multiple times and nothing was done. Then when one of the head staff members accused my partner of lying about what the new centre manager had said. Instead of saying perhaps it was a miscommunication. Due to safety we pulled our child from this school and is now much happier elsewhere. But it takes alot of trust to start again after this and this is a poor baby who cannot express what's happening. I even wrote an email on the last day with no response as my child was sent home with another bad nappy rash.

Young Academic has been a great experience for me and my kids. Staff are supper friendly and supportive. The Centre Manager has been amazing, so lovely, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. She welcomes families and children with warmth and compassion. I would highly recommend this Young Academics, Gregory Hills Centre to all families who wants the best care and education for their children.

Such a great place for our little one. Always happy when we pick her up and thats what its all about. The teachers are fantastic and always communicate with you on drop off and pick up . Wouldn't take our little one anywhere else .
