We have been sending our daughter to the centre since she was 10 months old. At nearly 3 years we have experienced amazing educators across all rooms being the nursery, transition and toddler room. She loves her daycare days and has made great friends. Centre and app communication is great and feedback has always been warmly received and changes made. Would recommend this centre to any local parents.

I have to admit, I was hesitant to send my son to this childcare after reading some of the older reviews — but now I truly regret not enrolling him earlier! The nursery teacher is amazing, and the level of care they provide is exceptional. It might sound like basic stuff, but I’ve been to other centres and it’s definitely not something to take for granted. My son comes home with relatively clean clothes (of course, a few food stains are expected!). I also no longer have to worry about his bottles and dummy getting mixed up with others — everything is handled so well and with real attention to detail. And amazingly he gains back his home routine there. When he was in the other centre, he has no routine but coming home with extremely tiredness. I believe the calm environment this centre provides matters. We’ve only just started, but I’m already so impressed with the care and professionalism of the team. I think it’s unfair for this centre to be defined by past reviews — they truly deserve recognition as a high-standard childcare in this community. Highly recommended!

The nursery staff are amazing. They have been there for a long time and truly care about the children.

We love this centre, our almost 4 and almost 2 year olds have been here since they were both 8months old. The carers are wonderful and consistent - yes there are changes, as there are everywhere but the new staff settle in quickly and get to know the children and their individual needs and quirks rapidly. The takeover from guardian was absolutely clunky yes, but we’re coming out the other side and we can now see improvements to the centre. We love the family atmosphere with lots of interaction between the age groups - which my kids particularly love. I always have and will continue to recommend this centre. Happy kids who ask to go to ‘school’ on a Sunday and want to stay on ‘for 5 more minutes’ at the end of the day

Our experience of the nursery and toddler rooms at LELC has been positive. Our toddler really enjoys his days at childcare with his mates. The lead educators and support carers in these rooms are wonderful and have provided tailored care. Genuine care and support has always been shown when our child has needed settling at drop off, has been unwell, or needed support to engage with new activities. Communication is clear and consistent with comprehensive updates daily, activities are considered, educational and fun, and there are quality meals throughout the day including breakfast club. Investment has been made to refresh the centre. New toys and play equipment, furniture, garden beds have all been introduced, and the better use of space so it feels accessible and calm. We have found the current centre manager and administration team have been open to parent group feedback to navigate the challenges faced during the transition to a Guardian Centre. When we provided feedback, sustainable change was made, and we have seen real improvement and benefits. Feedback is now actively requested. Overall, our experience is positive. I can recommend the nursery and toddler room at LELC.

LELC used to be an amazing place where I would drop my son off with complete confidence he was safe and in the best place he could possibly be. The changes were almost instantaneous as soon as Guardian took over. Whilst the majority of the experiences we had with the educators was great, they were never given the chance to truly succeed. It was sad to see them continually hamstrung by Guardian's continual cost cutting. The worst for me though was the leadership at Guardian who never fronted up to address the parents concerns properly and show they really cared about our kids. They prayed on our reluctance to not move our children knowing uprooting daycares is tough, not to mention the high occupancy rates elsewhere. My only recommendation is, if you have a choice avoid Guardian daycares at all costs.

LELC was once a nurturing place of care where children were the centre of every decision. Over the past 12 months under the new management of Guardian the bottom line has quite clearly replaced children as the priority. It's heartbreaking for the kids and the incredible educators who do their best with limited resources and support. Concerned parents have been told "if you do not like it, we're not for you" which is quite simply not good enough. A very, very sad outcome for what was a brilliant childcare centre.

Our family has been coming to this Centre since it opened, but I could not in good conscience recommend it to anyone, since Guardian Childcare took ownership in 2023. Staffing turnover rates are astronomical, rooms are now frequently understaffed, or staffed by student educators or junior casuals. The permanent staff who are there are doing their best, but they are struggling without proper support from Guardian. The Centre is now merging rooms without consultation or communication with parents. The fees remain high regardless, and Guardian neither respond nor seem to care about parent concerns. It’s a very, very sad indictment on what was once a beautiful centre.

sadly a big change since being taken over by guardian. remaining staff are well trained and engaged but more stretched with the change in ownership and policies. For one of the more expensive choices in the area it’s disappointing.
