I am writing this review to share my experience with Futuro Austral and Futuro Leppington Heath over the past 15 months.<br><br>In April 2025, I enquired about a place for my son Isaac and attended a tour at Futuro Austral in May 2025. During the tour, I disclosed that my son has autism. I was advised that there was essentially no suitable availability for him and was placed on the waiting list.<br><br>Months later, when I followed up regarding his application, I was shocked to be told that there was no child by the name of Isaac on the waiting list. After I raised concerns, I was later told that he had actually been on the waiting list all along and that an issue with another Futuro centre had somehow affected his record. I accepted that explanation in good faith and even removed a previous Google review because I wanted to give the centre the benefit of the doubt.<br><br>In November 2025, I attended a tour for the new Futuro Leppington Heath centre before it opened. I registered my interest early, received waitlist confirmations, and was repeatedly reassured that Isaac remained on the waiting list.<br><br>Months passed without any contact.<br><br>Concerned, I attended the Leppington centre in person and spoke directly with management. I was again reassured that Isaac was still on the waiting list. I also made it very clear that we were flexible and would accept any available days. I was told everything was in order.<br><br>More months passed, and I still received no offer.<br><br>Recently, my husband made an enquiry for a child with a different name but of a very similar age to Isaac. The date of birth was only a few days apart, meaning the child would be in the same age group. During that enquiry, he was advised that availability existed and was invited to attend a tour.<br><br>As a parent, I find this extremely difficult to understand.<br><br>My concerns are not based on a single incident but on a pattern of events:<br>• Being told there was no availability.<br>• Being told my son was not on the waiting list.<br>• Later being told he was on the waiting list.<br>• Being repeatedly reassured that he remained on the waiting list.<br>• Waiting more than a year without an offer.<br>• Discovering that availability appeared to exist for another child of the same age.<br><br>I am sharing this experience because I believe families deserve transparency regarding how waitlists are managed specially for special needs kids, which based on the facts I can say we have been treated differently. We have even received offers from KU centres which are so hard to be part of. Here we are more than a year after and still no invitation for enrolment to neither of the centres.<br><br>After more than a year of waiting, multiple follow-ups, conflicting information, and repeated reassurances, I am left disappointed, frustrated, and questioning whether my son was ever given a fair opportunity for enrolment.<br><br>I hope Futuro takes this feedback seriously and provides greater transparency for families in the future.

We enrolled our daughter for over a year and are grateful for the warm, caring educators. My daughter genuinely loved her time here. However, a few things frustrated us as parents: • Policy transparency: Policies were never proactively shared, and the 4-week notice requirement was not mentioned when we discussed enrolment changes — leading to an unexpected financial impact. • Waitlist communication: We requested an additional day in December 2025. Six months later, we had received no update on our waitlist position or estimated timeframe, despite following up multiple times. • Holiday discount: We were declined a holiday discount in August 2025. The policy changed shortly and effective after our holiday. No explanation to us. • Flexibility: Small requests (e.g. temporary pram storage) were declined. After raising our concerns, the management did respond and provided detailed explanations, which we appreciated. Great educators overall — we hope the centre continues to improve its communication with families.

My daughter has attended Futuro since it first opened, and our family couldn’t be happier. She is cared for, loved, and supported every day, and it’s amazing to see how much she’s learning and growing. We’re so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community—highly recommend!
